It's about time. You've been MIA for too long & have deprived us of a very informative & entertaining channel. Welcome back. So far you have 6 likes & the video hasn't even aired yet. I was wondering whether you might be back in SA for the summer?
Just want to mention Le Touquet is on the northern coast of France and not on the western coast. It’s not on the Ocean but on the sea. The name is Manche (English Channel).
Hello Bambi, Meeting you in a long time. I like your great flying by in the French skies with your partner by Bristell B23 Aircraft to your home in Holland. Enjoy your flying Bambi
Thank you for sharing radio communication with ATC. I'm planning to fly from Portugal to France for the first time and it's always good to hear from someone flying through France
What a great pleasure to see you / all of you again. Wonderful flight in the best weather, even if the air was sometimes bumpy. Great adventure with French flair, your loving family and the nice dog. Cool airplane, stopover to pee, the best thing is the rousing, heart-warming mood in all your videos. Many thanks for that! Always happy landings.
Your videos are super amazing, Bambi. Love the way you share your love of aviation mixed with humor, food, family- just awesome! Keep making these joyful videos, thanks and happy landings!
Le Touquet is one of the closest French airports to England, so a lot of British GA pilots fly there as their first international flight and apparently the lunch is Great. Also you can't beat Masai Shukas for picnic blankets 😊
been flying to AT quite a few times ! great place to eat lunch and very friendly staff at the bike rental place ! landing fee is just a bit expensive imo
I have flown and taught in the similar SportCruiser with the same canopy in the sun problem. There are stick on shades, but my best solution has been an in-ear headset so I can wear a big floppy hat!
Great to se you back in the saddle! See you still have your air conditioned jeans. Maybe I should send you a few pairs of my faded but still whole ones? They'll fit! Regards, Jim the Brit in NI UK
Hi Cool Video. I fly the Bristell also in Switzerland. My Homebase is Bern. It was a Amazing Airplane and also the Avionics are great. Have nice Flights and let me know if you plan a Flight to Bern. Maybe see you soon. Happy landings.
Great to see you back again. I am watching from New Zealand. This flight brings back memories of a flight I made (as pilot) from Toussus le Noble (Paris) tracking to Le Touqet then Clacton and on to Norwich in a Piper Seneca. And another flight where I stopped in Leylestat on my way to Italy in a Thorpe T211.
Thanks for taking us along on another wonderful flight. Hope you both can make it to Vancouver British Columbia Canada C-YVR one day. Have a Merry Christmas you guys! Look forward to more ride alongs in 2024
Thank you - Le Touquet (Paris Plage) is not located in the West of France but in the North ! It's not the ocean but the English Channel. Redraw the map because the Atlantic Ocean is located far and to the south.
Love to see you guys up in the Turbo version of the B23, perhaps you already have in another video?, but I believe the Turbo can get you to about 150 KTAS Vh
Really enjoyed the video. Just qualified on the Ultra Light and flying the Bristell. Your video has filled me with inspiration to get out there and fly. Good job.
Wassup everybody! So I've had the pleasure of flying this airplane as well, and I confirm all of the above. Very good performance overall but especially on climbing, gives you engine power when you need it, the interior is amazing and very up-to-date. It´s actually as good as it gets. Even though the auto-pilot doesn't include auto throttle, its still an amazing autopilot for a plane of this size and category. Very agile due to the low wing, and you get to see everything due to the glass fibre canopy. Also its got a very silent engine. Good job
Hey Rosita, wellcome back! I missed you! Nice journey both of you took us along, so thank you for that. As always, cheers from NE Patagonia, Argentina and BTW: Marry Xmas and a HNY to you, your family and friends. I hope I see you more sooner than later.
Welcome back, greetings from South Africa. Amazing how clear radio comms are on your channel compared to some USA channels, I’m not sure if it is just the recording or are comms generally better in RSA and Europe compared to the USA. As an ex-ATC I often think I wouldn’t cope well with such poor quality RT Comms. Next year, God willing, my wife and I move to the Western Cape near Gansbaai, you two should come visit the area again.
Great video again guys! You add such a great vibe to all of your travelogs . . . looking forward to another of your epic round the world journeys 😀🤞🏿ps . . . If you had to choose would it be the Sling or the Bristell?? 🤔
Hi, what do you have in mind with your Heli-License ? Would also like to see you doing more type-ratings on fixed wing, just asking ! Your are a great family, love it 👍👍👍👍
I have a maybe stupid question but when flying do you have to stick to a strict straight path or can you ever for example, fly through mountains or over a beach? just curious :)
Merry Christmas from Sydney Australia. I'm wondering about refuelling the Bristel from the off airport gas station? Was it for cost or fuel quality? 🌏🇭🇲🌲
Has been a while. Good to see you both back and when you fly over france please next time refuel in Nevers or Moulins and i will pick you both up for a BBQ ;)

Very nice to see you both again. 11:33 "How the turns have tabled" ... a nice turn of phrase.😉
Yes, I heard that. Very interesting!
Just want to mention Le Touquet is on the northern coast of France and not on the western coast. It’s not on the Ocean but on the sea. The name is Manche (English Channel).

Great video, right over my house on the Aare at 1:57 under the left wing.
“Look at ze castle, j’adore” 😂
I have flown and taught in the similar SportCruiser with the same canopy in the sun problem. There are stick on shades, but my best solution has been an in-ear headset so I can wear a big floppy hat!
Heel mooi, bedankt!
That looked like loads of fun and like a nice aircraft. How does it compare to the sling?
Great to have you back - it has been too long

A great video adventure
The Bristell has the best seats!
Is glad to see you back. Do you ever have to clear customs going into another country?
14:52 PERFECT landing. 🙂
I note that the autonomy of the B23 is greater than that of Bambi!!!🤣🤣 very happy to see you again on the channel. Patrick LFPO👍👍✈️✈️

Really enjoyed the video. Just qualified on the Ultra Light and flying the Bristell. Your video has filled me with inspiration to get out there and fly. Good job.
Excellent video. Would you be able to compare the bristell vs the sling 2.
🇿🇦 🎉anticipation is killing me.
Let’s go😊
Wow .wonderful
So delightful!
Welcome back !!! Nice to see another vid 👍🏻🍻🇨🇦
Thanks 👍
Great catching you again but where have you been for the past 3 months?
Even een blokje om ❤🛫
Nice, well done.
Great video ! Please tell me what application do you use to navigate
Great video, a great plane, lots of fun, you guys rock. when do u go back to South Africa again?

The aircraft looks like a smaller Diamond DA-20, in so many ways .. low wing canopy, stick, glass cockpit … thoughts?

Looking forward to it! Pick me up in Belgium as you pass by on your way to France! Then I fly while you sleep! 😊
OMG!!! It's really you?? We've missed you!😢
Hihi it sure is!! Been very busy with my helicopter commercial license, so not much time to film or edit!! So sorry for the radio silence❤
@@PilotBambi❤
Increíble aún es mí sueño 😊
The Bristell is so easy to fly 😊
Great plane.❤
❤thanks amen ❤
Wow! Jullie staan naast een Fanjet 600 en schenken er geen seconde aandacht aan...?
Great video again guys! You add such a great vibe to all of your travelogs . . . looking forward to another of your epic round the world journeys 😀🤞🏿ps . . . If you had to choose would it be the Sling or the Bristell?? 🤔
Leuke video! Ik ben momenteel mijn PPL aan het halen op (oa) de PH-YLW (staat nu op EHEH) dus heel herkenbaar! :) Ndege nzuri! ;)
Great video! How did you find the visibility over the nose? I'm 5'4" and wondering
Sling should make composite certified planes instead of sheet and rivet kits. It's just better
Welcome back 😊
I have that some autopilot. it rocks!
Great video enjoyed it. This must have been filmed some months back when it was high summer in Europe. Why so long to upload?
Nice mission, bravo! Coming out of Switzerland (non EU) in a PH reg aircraft are there any customs formalities flying in to France?
Squat and dribble.lol
Then the video of french bakery .very jealous
Awesome video
Wow asome
Sho ilike this video so much captain bambi

Awesome!
How do the Bristol compare with the Sling?
Hi, what do you have in mind with your Heli-License ? Would also like to see you doing more type-ratings on fixed wing, just asking ! Your are a great family, love it 👍👍👍👍
I am not going to lie...my favorite part of this video was watching you run to "air-pee!" The human factor can sometimes cause a problem in life!!!!!!
best French beer is a Belgium one :))
I have a maybe stupid question but when flying do you have to stick to a strict straight path or can you ever for example, fly through mountains or over a beach? just curious :)
Nice! En nu staat de YLW op onze vliegclub ;-)

Hey Bambi 👋 🪽 found your channel again ❤
Люблю Ваши видео❤😍
Can I ask Bambi if your dad is a pilot ? Love the plane. It's slick and beautiful. 👍😊🇮🇪
Well, I'm the dad and a private pilot. But I must admit that my skills and experience are not on the level of Pilot Bambi 😊
Hello Jan,, thanks for your reply. I don't work in aviation but I love anything to do with planes. 👍😊🇮🇪🇳🇱
We’ve missed you guys! Nice French accent Bambi… a flying frog approves 😜😂.
By the way you don’t pronounce the “t” at the end of Le Touquet…
Aw so you’re here now? Are you passing through LFBR?
Hehe ik moest twee keer nadenken…is ze lid geworden van EACm? (YLW is sinds januari 2023 in ons bezit)
nice video, what did you pay in total for Zurich Airport?
Waiting for adventure
Long time no see WB
Hello nice Video cool 😊
hi guys, few questions...
How much cost that plane by now? what is the average fuel consumption and speed you achieve? Thanks guys!
