- we get a few things buttoned up and we visit Ed's fab shop to get a radiator welded up but unfortunately chris didn't have time to spare so we didn't get it welded, definitely didn't have anything to do with my welds! We also get the s10 fired up!
Thanks for Watching!!!

Pipes sounded good! Keep running it...if it gets unhappy it will give itself a break! then just build a bigger one!😆😆😆
Exactly! 🤣🤣 Thanks man!✌️
Head up bro it will work 1 day 😂😂. 👍👍Keep at it
Thanks brother!✌️
Trucks finally looking good fellas.
Damn Good shirts too!
You goofy bastards are pretty good at stuff. 😂🤘🏻
🤣🤣 Thanks brother!✌️
Glad to see you guys are back from vacation. Truck definitely sounds better with those pipes. As for the noise I would check the flywheel bolts see if they're tight. Hope you guys find the noise and it's nothing major 💯👍🔧🔧
Thanks brother! Hope it’s nothing major also but apparently that’s how solid roller engines sound is what other people said but I don’t know 🤷🏻♂️ first time ever having one for us.
Yeah if it has a solid roller it definitely can be the valve train making noise and needs to be readjusted.
sounds like the rockers Solid roller cams are loud and now u dont have open headers where u can hear it might just need to adjust the valves on it sounbd a little loose
Thanks bro!🤙
I really enjoy the channel. Just wanted to make a suggestion, me and a friend had the same issue. The motor ran fine we put it in the car and oil wouldn’t prime through the lifters. All we changed was the oil filter and the adapter that holds the filter to the motor. It started pumping just like new again
Thanks man!🤙
Now those pipes make the engine sound more aggressive. You know, you can add way more timing since you have some back pressure and gain some of that low end power that was missing. Y’all some rockstar’s!!!
Thanks bro!🤙
It's going to be a good one if you're in the other side of the shop ❤
🤣🤣 Thanks brother!🤙
Yeah that's how my luck goes try to improve one thing then something else goes to shit lol 😆
Every time! 🤣
Sounds alot better...
Thanks bro!🤙
My 5.3 rockers sound just as bad but I had a sbf sound like that and it was piston slap
The trans dip stick is out of an 1989 Chevy 350 motor I got the same one
Could be piston slap if it has forged domes in it due to the extra clearance. I had one that sounded like that. It eased off a little when it warmed up. Probably couldn't hear it before because of those loud ass pipes.
Yeah it has domes in it. We were thinking the same thing, it was probably making that noise before but we just didn’t hear it with the open headers at the front wheels.
Dang! The Corvette exhaust system sounds awesome, nice work!!! I got a question: where in God's creation did that shifter mount come from? !!!
Me and my brother made it. We used to cam out of his old 53 and cut it down and made it.
Like he said, we made it from the stock cam out of the 5.3 LS that’s in my c10. Here’s the video if you want to check it out th-cam.com/video/4XJrhWh8e0M/w-d-xo.htmlsi=hd9_tN6o2PNCyn_f
That fart sounded like lobe was flat diesel don't sound bad .Like the channel raw vidoe .Im building 92
🤣🤣 Thanks man!
Where the fart?
Ain't nothing wrong wit it that's solid roller life lol rockers gonna b noisy yall ran the pipes on back so it's not behind the tires now not as loud up front so u will hear more shit under hood now oh like an scribe 😂😂
i was thinking the same thing when i heard it my solid roller motor sounds just like that u can hear it when ya aint got the open headers anymore
Thanks man! We appreciate that! That might put him at ease!🤣
Good thing it doesn't have an LS in it or it would have sounded like 💩😂😂
You ain’t lying! 🤣🤣
😂😂
Still trying to figure out WHY you need to cover or plug unused oil/trans cooler ports on the radiator at all? Just leave them alone with a plug, any lowes, HD,Ace, or Amazon has the plugs lol. Those go to the internal cooler that has nothing to do with the engine coolsnt. There's zero pressure, and unused-zero fluid?? What the HELLL am I missing here! Lol done gone back and watched 26 other videos trying to figure out why the he's trying to keep the air from leaking out and NOTHINNNN lol😅😅
We wasn’t trying to cover the cooler lines, we wanted to cover the heater hose port so we don’t have the little hose with a plug on it. I was just trying on the cooler port to see if I could weld on it! Didn’t want to just start on the heater port and mess it up…
