- Hey everyone, today I'm sharing two pre-christmas mantel decorating ideas. One mantel is simple and elegant, and the second mantel is elegant and over the top. Both mantles are decorated for the upcoming season, starting with Thanksgiving. They are nice and festive, but once Thanksgiving is over, you are ready to add in your Christmas bells and trimmings. I hope you find inspiration in today's video and possibly start your decorating process. ☺️😘

Hi Barbara! Happy Sunday. Great tip on curtain ring 🙌 If your keeping the mantle as is, never too much gold! I'd trim out that mirror, in whichever metallic color I'd so choose. The greenery garland will definatetly add to the final warming touch! Love your LR mantle. Its beautiful! 🙏❤ Well done dear, nice pic of you!

Love the painted garland. I have tried to eliminate the sparkly accents in my décor this year also. What a great idea to paint it. You did a fantastic job using the two mirrors. The bell garland is a nice touch. I like that you are waiting to add the pine garland for later in the season. Great idea using curtain rings to steady the ornaments. I too use something similar when placing round objects in decor.

Looks great however I’d replace the large circular candles within the glass cylinders with something shorter and/ or more delicate. They compete with the urn. Just my opinion…
I LOVE your mantel decor. Is there any reason that the two hurricane lanterns are not equally distanced? They seem imbalanced.
Note particular reason. I was trying to come close to the Pottery Barn picture, and there's was not balanced either. 🤷🏿♂️ Tfw ☺️

Your first mantle was not one of my favorites from you. I think that garland throws it off. I suggest switching that out and add 2 candle sticks on the left side. I loved the bell swag. That really took it to another level.
Barbara this mantle just isn't you and is just a bunch of things thrown together. I believe you should redo it to look more like the amazing style you have.
