I've just realized that instead of designing the quick release plate you could make an universal design by just using a larger screw and screwing the object to the quickrelease plate as if it were a camera and then the camera would be screwed in the teleprompter print. Im gonna do that and Then I'll have a teleprompter that I can use in every single tripod
Wow... Things get so simple when you have a 3D Printer... 3DPrinting is certainly going to decentralize the entire manufacturing process. Thanks for sharing this beautiful and simple project. I wish I had a 3D printer to actually print it out, but I guess I can find one somewhere in my city!
How do you get the 'double image' in the glass to go away? I had this same issue with a HUD for my car reflecting off of the windshield, but there was a small adhesive square that stuck to the windshield and made that go away (made it only a single clear image), but it is still transparent, so it's not like a mirror or anything. Thanks.

Yeah $0.00, you just need to 3D print stuff at home, which is at the end (if you are honest) almost the same price as a cheap small teleprompter (and there you have the advantage of a 70/30 beamsplitter mirror)... If you would make such a part using CNC (I don't even talk about laser cutting, forget it), it would be far too expensive. Just my 2c (we do a lot of 3D printing and CNCing for work related stuff)...

@@neotock keep in mind that not all quick release plates allow you to take the screw out (most do though)

I use Photoshop to sketch and Autodesk Fusion 360 to make the 3d model.
