    Any reason why the acetone reduces the shine on the ferrule?

      Acetone is an organic compound with the formula (CH3)2CO. It is a colorless, highly volatile and flammable liquid with a characteristic pungent odor. Extreme caution should be exercised and You should try and minimize what this compound comes into contact with. Fingers and Ferrules alike.     man, using the 1/8" drill bit to remove epoxy from the shaft without the chuck guide is dangerous for those not building clubs on a regular basis. IMO
