Karen Grotberg has got to be the most camera shy person I've ever seen. Always with her back to the camera, in the background, etc. Such a great pianist. Would love to see more of her. Her voice at the end of the song is terrific, also.
I appreciate the piano being forward in the mix. It seems to be slightly buried on several Jayhawks albums. As always, the harmonies are nearly heartbreaking. Very glad to see the band still performing and a new album out.
Sooooo cool to see Karen Grotberg back on the keyboard at the piano with them, it makes me feel like the world still has some continuity to it....great live take, and re other comments, they have always looked like they just rolled out of bed....the hgih style that is GRUNGE LIVES! :-)
As much as I LOVE ALL of her electronica keyboard work, her acoustic piano playing is just other-worldly!! I only wish that we could have hosted them at our old, now gone concert series where there was a nice, full sounding, baby grand right there on the stage for her to play.
Was this an early-morning show because they look like they've just rolled out of bed ;-) This is still my favourite song by my favourite band and the sound/picture quality is great, so thanks a lot.
Every video I see with Marc Olson involved the rest of the band looks absolutely miserable. No one will ever convince me that the dude had a positive influence on the others.
Such a great song
Great songs from one of the best bands I have ever worked for…….

You noticed that too, huh?
She is incredibly sweet to talk to though. My sister and I have conversed with her after several different shows. Very kind person.
Not always if you watch more Jayhawks videos. She has even come to the forefront on the latest recordings (2019+).
OMG. To go back to these days

Their new album is truly wonderful. I've been a Jayhawks fan since their first release. They never seem to shine brilliantly.
I love the Jayhawks ❤️ I wish they would play near NY
I love the piano in this version
Bingo
I love the Jayhawks ❤️ and wish they would play in NY
thanks for this... incredible seeing these folks do what they enjoy and do best

What I had in mind was strong.
there songs are so nice.. they remind me of TV theme songs from the 1970s sometimes..

Good Song & Band
I agree, although it doesnt get the respect or attention it deserves
They are back together recording a new album? News to warm the heart.
I'd really like a video on how to play the piano to this song ? Pretty please sugar daddy on top !
Louris sounds the same as he did 16 years ago.
Girls father son and the Holy Ghost
Tim O'Reagan is a fine drummer and singer, but The Jayhawks were never quite the same after Ken Callahan's departure.
Mark Olson was still in his late 40's in this video? He looks f'in ROUGH damn
He's had a rough life. And lives in the desert. Show some respect.
Marc Olson looks like hell
No. He looks like he has lived his life...he didn't just exist
He looks like Richard Burton. I think he looks great.
The Jayhawks was his band. It's like Alex Chilton fans talking shit about Chris Bell.
camera shot is really bad
Every video I see with Marc Olson involved the rest of the band looks absolutely miserable. No one will ever convince me that the dude had a positive influence on the others.
Love the Jayhawks but this is kind of anemic
