Essentially, I watched a lot of Zach and realized he was just doing the same motion over and over. For each person it may be a bit different, but I slide my foot from mid-pedal to front quickly, and let some bounce-back turn it into two strokes instead of one. Start really slow to figure out how it works and then practice enough to get it as fast as you want.
I have a DW 7000 and I know Zach uses an Iron Cobra. Hope this helps a bit!'

how long did it take you? really struggling here to build up speed in any of the double stroke techniques (slide or heel toe)

@@aaptel thanks aaptel!! Realistically, I’ve been focused on it since COVID hit, so a few years. Starting slow is important, learning easy patterns first. Thinking about doing a intro lesson vid here soon! I hope that can help you. Stick with it!
