Massively boring though after the first episode. Maybe the most soulless slife of life romcom I've seen in a while. There are plenty of other better wholesome romcoms.
It's literally Komi-San but better with an added twist of Nichijou style skits. Also has romance progression which is always nice. Too bad its not your thing but makes sense that the humor doesn't land for everyone. Have a good one

After the first episode or two, the problem of Reina's communication is pretty much gone. There are hardly any side characters as well. They have almost nothing in common.
Komi-san - Entire school fawns over one girl strictly due to her aesthetic looks Aharen-san - Two people who are generally disregarded by the whole school meet and bond over shared social flaws. Aharen-san isnt meant to be deep, its to show two people fall in love through friendship and get to know each other while the audience observes their antics. Also worth noting is that it's established that Raido just gets used to her quiet voice whereas the rest of the school still pretty much ignores them due to Raido seeming off-putting and scary and Aharen being too quiet.

"It's not meant to be deep" is not an excuse for a show being extremely boring and showcasing nothing but the same jokes and scenarios over and over and over again. There's nothing to seperate the two MCs of Aharen. Sure the plot tells us that Raiden is avoided because he's scary, but after like episode 2 or something that part of him is literally meaningless. They're just two awkward people making the same jokes with uninspiring visuals and flat dialogue.
Just adding, in the manga. The Body Improvement Club carries Red Hulk to the hospital after he gets knocked out by Mob. They're the best boys.

Loving your reactions so far, another show you might enjoy is Aharen-San. Super good romance / comedy, very wholesome.
