The Shimazaki fight was so well animated. Definitely the best fight scene in the anime.
There's not a single moment in this anime where its not well animated

@@raziqqin6248 Mob vs Mogami (ep5) is definitely great in terms of effects and power move blasting, but for me, this one is superior in terms of how badass and clean it looks, followable but beautiful action instead of just spamming effects on the screen. The way they animated all of them fighting just one guy, going from one to another, different perspectives (first person), etc. It's just beautiful.

Easily one of the greatest special moves in all of anime XD
This is easily one of my favorite episodes in the series. Beyond the extraordinary fight animation, Mob holding up the soda can as an example of how society functions through collaboration and entreating the bitter, angry spirit of Mogami to have faith in people's ability to change for the better, even if we can't oversee them to enforce it are two of the best moments of the show's beautiful message. Far too many people today fail to understand what makes us strong as a species is our ability to operate and rely on each other as a society, and are succumbing to isolationism and fear, and it's so important to have pieces of media like this that push back in such an elegant way.
Yup the soda can is such a great way for ONE to have represented the philosophy he was trying to present and it really doesn't get talked about enough because the Shounen traits of the series outshine it for some people.

The studio spared no expense for this masterful brawl, culminating in a similar end to that of Mob vs Teru. An incredible force forcing a narcissist to reevaluate his life.

Would Mob really have been able to figure out Shimazaki or is it a case of his barrier is just too OP? But I guess Teru already made the point that technique is nothing against real power.
Mogami is very interesting though.
his barrier is so op that he would not be able to penetrate it even with teleportation plus once mob can teleport too pretty sure, after seeing how the move works that is
Koyama literally tried to punch Mob point-blank in S1 E8 and couldn't get past his natural barrier at 100% Animosity, so in the same way I don't think there's any way for Shimazaki to lay his hands on Mob if he really feels like it. Mob could overwhelm Shimazaki's perception with a barrage of attacks or simply overwhelm his natural barrier with brute strength. Obviously Shimazaki could also run away, but there's really nothing he could do to Mob if Mob is really out for blood. Finally, we know that ???% could suck power from other espers (rendering them temporarily powerless), which operates on the same principle with which Mob shared his power with Shou, so Mob could also potentially absorb all the power from Shimazaki.

Personally I believe that because Shimazaki was so eager and ready to face Mob despite knowing the depths of Mob’s power and that Mob wasn’t hiding anything make me think it would be a roughly even fight. I think mob could’ve won but it wouldn’t be by figuring Shizamaki out- he doesn’t have that kind of battle brain.
