The diversity of GTP racing made it one of the most exciting series ever (I would have said THE most exciting before discovering SCCA Trans Am racing on your, oldSCCAguy yah channel). Being from England I have never heard that much about it but now I'm addicted! Favourite car is Ron Fellows Sonoco Camero, what a beauty.

mokeimusic Thanks! I try, dude. Hey, most of the guys my own age were there, and most of the younger guys have already researched names & results on the internet. Nobody's flamed me for posting up a "spoiler" yet. Since we're all racing people it's like everyone already knows who won, regardless of their age. Motor Racing: an 'Equal Opportunity" addiction. ;)

When they initially brgan planning for the new Miami F1 race they floated the idea of using this track layout and adding length too it by effectively stapling on a long dogleg set of straights going over the bridge and looping back around at the far end of the bridge.

+Christian Ponicki, I know I was being sarcastic about the fact the 962 he was driving looked just like a GTP-ZX-T. Got to hand it all those driving 962's keeping them competitive for so long.

King Greeny Ah, that went right over my head. You're right; his 962 does look a lot like the Nissans. And I agree, the drivers of those Porsches did a good job of staying competitive. But they wouldn't have been able to if various teams hadn't kept evolving the 962 design throughout the years.

And then Wollek stalls the car and damages the transmission... brilliant.

King Greeny Wollek never drove a ZX-T; he just drove a pimped out 962.

Wollek was a great driver, but it seems he had heat stroke or something... Crazy way to end their chances.

stoked_dude I think that was a Costa Rica flag at second glance. Could be wrong, tho.
