Awesome video! I just learned how to use song mode and love working on mpc equipment. I have a key 61 so everything I learn here applies as well! Thanks for the great video!
Awesome vid. Thanks man. Whats a good sampling mic? Im looking at the zoom options. I want to sample real world sounds. Be them real drums or tapping on a dish pan you know?
I'm new to mpc. I'm a bit overwhelmed with navigating through it all. I've never had a daw either, so I'm literally new to all of this. I'm a guitar player. That's what I've always been geared toward. I have a quad cortex and haven't been able to get any audio from it to the mpc. It has xlr, 1/4 inch, plus midi outputs. I know there's probably a channel setting in the mpc, and I've just not found it. Hooking the mpc to my tascam model 12 was straight forward, but no luck with my quad cortex. Any ideas or help would be most appreciated.
Same here man,,,Guitar player got the DR - 880 for a few years great machine ,BUT THE DAMM PADS WEAR OUT (ON MY SECOND ONE) I NEED DRUMS AND BASS .I MIGHT GET THE MPC 1+ STILL LOOKING. NEW TECHNOLOGY IS GREAT AFTER YOU LEARN HOW TO NAVIGATE ON THESE MACHINES. THANK GOD FOR SOME PEOPLE DOING THESE VIDEO. GOOD LUCK MAN. - RJ.
Can you teach me how to make good beats?(I wanted to say, can you teach me how to make my beats not suck.) I'm talking beats like "All about the Benjamin's" made by D-Dot Angelletie. Or "Nas is coming" by Dr Dre and affiliates. Or "Cutting" by Mike Jones&Magnificent. Thank you.
Man! __ You don't play. __ Anybody I know that needs some MPC ed , I will definitely send them to your site. Thanks for being here on this planet😊
Please do!
LOVE THIS! You are the only channel that I have found that is doing close up and over the shoulder on these machines. Awesome, Thanks
Very useful video. Your presentation is perfect. Also great closeups of the screens and everything.

I've got to read up on the quad cortex first and understand the problem.

I usually just click on an empty pad, then push down on the data wheel to load the samples.
