this is underrated he deserves more subscribers than people who just record about their day i mean he actually works for all this byw thank u so much u really helped me in my course
I really could have used this videos about a year ago when I took the class at my University! Thanks for making them, I think they'll be great for reviewing thermo as needed i.e probably when I take fluids or heat transfer. Also thank you for your statics and mechanics of materials videos, I used some of them when taking those courses to solidify my understanding.
Yes! Thank you Jeff. Our semester just started and with my current classes I'm realizing I've been pretty weak on Thermo. So happy to see that you're doing a course on it!
You're the best Mr. Hanson! I have been really struggling with my thermodynamics class since its all online due to COVID-19 and my professor's lectures are not very well produced. Thanks from Minnesota!
So great to see you again. I watched your lectures for Solid Mechanics and Dynamics and they were great! I wish you had a course for Mechanical Vibrations :( Thanks for all the help so far :D
It's awesome that you started posting these videos. I am currently reviewing my first college physics course, which was about Mechanics and Thermodynamics, and I have soon reached the Thermodynamics part, yahoo!
Jeff - this topic seems to be quite different from your other statics / dynamics videos....I assume as an engineer you had to take this class yourself back in college but do you teach it now at texas tech or did you just review all the material and it came back enough in your mind to be able to teach it like this? I am not an engineer but a wanna be and love all of your videos - thanks for putting them out.
I took this course 35 years ago. I never used it in industry so it’s virtually lost to me. I am currently relearning this on my own and making videos as I go. Thanks for following along.

It's going to be a great semester with this series! Please finish Dynamics too!

You're 100% right about the unit consistency. It makes all the difference in understanding what you're doing.
Mr hanson, you are just golden

i'm 13 and i could understand it so props to you Jeff.
"We're a proud people, and we aren't switching" hilarious because it's so true
He hit the nail on the head with that statement.
You are the greatest and I don't know what would I do without your videos. Thank you!!!!

Yessss!!! Exactly what I’m currently going trough in my thermodynamics class.
You my favorite teacher I want to say you are the coolest teacher in the world
Wonderful Thermo lessons!! really taking the time to explain the problems along with a good sense of humor :))
Your lectures are entertaining and easy to understand
Thank you, Dr. Hanson! I am going to use your nice videos as the prerequisite of my energy conversion class.
It's awesome that you started posting these videos.

You HAVE to be my most loyal follower. ❤️

I enjoy your videos a lot. 👍
Thank you Mr.jeff
I hope you don't give up on dynamics course. I passed solid thanks to you but I couldn't pass dynamics last year. Please go on dynamics.
My preparation for incoming thermodynamic class.thank you sir👍🏻
He is right, metric system is so much easy.
It allows you to “speak the same language” to the rest of the world
When he said Okay Gang at the beginning it reminded me of Fred from scooby doo haha
GOD BLESS THIS MAN
Nice work Mr. Hanson.
Love this guy. The real life Walter White.
Thanks again!
And i get 18.5 /20
Because of you ❤️❤️
Thank you again
Thanks i was waiting for this......
My thermo professor:
“We’re only using metric in this class I’m not going to make you use imperial units”
The class:
🎉🎉🥳🥳🥳🥳🎉🎉
Can you go over lbm, lbf, poundal, and slugs?
Please finish this course!
Thanks best and funny teacher ever
Thank you sooooo much you helped me to understand mechanics and how to think like engineers
So is specific volume intensive or extensive? I'm assuming it's intensive because it should be the same regardless of how much matter you have.
Will you be completing the dynamics video series?
Yes I am working on it. Thanks for watching
@@1234jhanson Thank you so much. I appreciate your efforts to help out a 15 yr old like me. Thank you!
good lecture
Noooo 😭 I wish this was uploaded earlier when I was struggling through thermo but luckily I barely scraped by
This is so helpful! Thank you
Great explanation
So if you were to measure it's flammability it would be intensive?
Thank you!!!!!!
thanks so much
Some countries use metric units, and some countries land men on the moon.
The sound quality in this video is not good. Although the lesson is great. Please improve the quality of the sound if you can.
Professor Hanson can I go to the bathroom
Do you have anyother videos

@@1234jhanson hey Jeff thanks a lot for these videos, I'm learning now thermo and wanted to know when you think you'll release the rest of the course?
9:56 😂
