Last semester he posted all of his statics videos about halfway through the semester... I was STRUGGLING until I saw those. Passed with an A, thanks to Jeff. I would hug this man if I could
You don't know how happy I am to come across your videos, Dr. Hanson! You're making a positive change in the lives of future engineers with your much needed videos. Thanks so much!
Thank God I found you. I just started my thermodynamics class 2 days ago and I feel better now. Can’t wait till I complete my course with you. Hopefully, my upcoming lectures will match your upcoming videos.
I am in a shock right now!!! The best professor on the planet is teaching Thermodynamics !! You saved me in statics and solids now you gonna save me in Thermo. Much much respect and love from Canada !!
MY MAN. You got me through statics, then dynamics and strength of materials. Now, just as I'm starting thermodynamics, you come out with a thermo series. Thank you so so so much for uploading these videos.
Hey Jeff, I am a Biosystems Engineering student at the University of Kentucky. I was very excited to see you've just started this. Since this revelation, I have used you for solids and statics. So just wanted to say thanks and I appreciate all of your help!
so grateful for your content Jeff, you are a great teacher and put across all your work in an easy to understand manner. keep up the great work - all the way from South Africa
@@theadel8591 Honestly, dynamics IMO was just statics 2.0, pretty much the same thing but with moving objects, memorising equations and then understanding the problem to be able to apply them, I will say though that dynamic's equations are super intuitative, there are like 3 equations and the rest are just derivations/small changes, you will enjoy the course if you enjoyed physics or statics
Appreciate these videos Jeff. I graduated about a year and a half ago and will be taking my Fundamentals of Engineering to start my way to get my professional engineering certificate. Thermo was one of the classes I struggled in a lot, so these will be extremely useful.
Thank you Jeff, for all you do. You're a good person and your dedication to sharing learning is something I hope you're proud of, I appreciate it a lot for all the work you do.
Sir Hanson I am happy to see you once again after a long time.... please explain topic of slope and deflection in beam by double integration method in detail , indeterminate structures and thermal stresses in Mechanics of solids and couple moment (3d) in statics .....no doubt you are the best teacher and I request you to go through these topics as I am very confused in these....
😍AAAHHHH🤓 SHUT UP YO FACE GOOD SIR!!! Shoot! You helped me ACE Statics... Then get the highest A in my Strengths(/Solids) class... And now Thermo?!? GOD I love you man. I'm tryna tackle this course during 10 wks of Summer... Could not be grateful for your incredible support, tips, and study-aides. 🙏🏻💯✍🏻 💪🏼🧠LEZ DO THIS!!
Hey there sir sorry for being crude but damnn I love your channel. Please upload more videos. I understood many of my university modules from your channel. Really appreciate your effort
Thank you! Liked subscribed and hit the bell. Can't wait for more as I'm about to take a power engineering course in which thermodynamics are applied. So thank you for this intro.
I've never been so glad to find one channel on TH-cam before as I am right now watching your series. I'm quite sure that this is the feeling of many of us watching it right now! Thank you for your work Mr. Hanson, for spending some of your time sharing your knowledge with us!
While I've already taken the course myself, I can guarantee this course will be incredibly helpful to the endless number of mechanical engineering students that struggle with introductory thermodynamics 'gateway' courses. Thank you for all you do!
A college professor seeking to liven up his course had the following extra credit question an an exam. "Is Hell exothermic or endothermic? Provide sound evidence to support your answer." One of his students submitted the following answer. He started by providing all the reasons that would support both an exothermic Hell and an endothermic Hell. After several paragraphs of this he got to the main evidence and its implication. Here is his analysis. When I asked the pretty coed in the dorm room across the hall if she would sleep with me, she said she would sleep with me "the day Hell freezes over." She has not slept with me which means Hell has not frozen over and therefore must be endothermic. He received full credit.
Wow, I am so excited!! *Thank you very much!* Your statics and solids playlists honestly saved me for my advanced solid mechanics and stress analysis course last semester. Your videos helped me review and strengthen my statics and solids, that were incredibly weak. If I didn't go through your playlist, I would have definitely failed. I ended up with an A- and I credit 50% of that to you honestly. You have no idea how lost and weak I would feel with statics and solids. But you helped me so much and I truly want to thank you for that. I really appreciate the time and effort you put into these videos. Hope you have a wonderful day!
OMFG I remember I passed my statics class with an A a year ago. I have my thermo final in 2 days and I just stumbled upon this playlist. You're a life saver!!!
What now? Jeff teaching thermodynamics? Imma watch this till the end, with pleasure, even though I've already passed the subject!!

Mr. Hanson, you helped me through 3rd-semester statics and now that I´m starting thermodynamics I ran across this video, amazing!!
Jeff was there for me in statics, dynamics, mechanics of materials, now we got Thermo??? What great timing/blessing!

Hey Jeff, I’ve been a degreed engineer since 1993, closing in on my retirement, but I still enjoy good quality “teachings” like your videos.
I really appreciate you dr. Hanson. I was about to fail statics, but I found your videos and passed with a B+.
Thanks Jeff. I start Thermodynamics in Semester 2 this year. Your videos where you bang out a problem in ten minutes are the best.
You’ve helped me in so many classes please don’t stop!!!
