I've had two out for a couple weeks. Using them with non-spypoint cameras with zero issues. So far I am happy as they have performed as expected!

@@camobooty2008 Hey Charlie. I do feel the same. However, I did have to upgrade the firmware on one of them. It just stopped transmitting after a battery change. it powered up and had a great signal but i noticed i wasn't receiving any pics over night. Brought it in to camp and upgraded the firmware, which wasn't hard at all if you are somewhat tech savy. That took care of it. It has been fine for over a month since then. The other camera is still working fine with the original firmware so i didn't upgrade it.
Both are hooked up to wildgame innovation cameras...

I have this unit and it seems to work pretty well. One concern is having squirrels or other critters chewing that external cable. I've had that happen with mounting external flashes, external batteries, and such. The thing I have found that will absolutely deter this problem is wrapping the exposed wire in duct tape. For some reason the critters will not chew on it. Since I started doing that I've never had an external wire damaged again.

When I had problem with a camera they were willing to try and fix until they found out it was out of warrenty then they wanted nothing to do with it. Until the time it was disclosed we had emailed back and forth 3-4 times after they found out about the warrenty they stopped corresponding. When I called and finally actually got someone to talk to it was a receptionist, she talked to techs after I explained problem and she informed me they were busy and would get in contact with me. That has been 5 months ago. However until the camera failed to power up I had no issues with them. Lots of luck when you need help out of warrenty.

Yes ive been using the 1st trail monitor 1st it was trip wire string on a trail that would pull out and stop the time that was fun i time and start over then i got a home made plastic container with a some holes for for the sensor and the 35mm camera that after getting it back from 1hr could ba a bird a blade of grass moving in the wind to the 1st white flash digital with big D or c batteries then what we see now . Just my opinion from many years of cams the flash is still best for not yes not spooking deer they dont even look at them. Ir is a gimmick and cheap but last longer flash but i still use my older white flash plus color at night looks better wish i could still get them but with a replaceable flash because they only have so many before the bulb burns out. Just do one test for your own by turning on your flash light when deer is walking by in the dark they will look and then go right back to doing whatever it is no running off . Its funny to see all the pics of deer looking at cams that are sold as hard to see for humans not deer lol
