Logan Lathe model 1875 walk down

Walk through of my Logan 1875 lathe. This model is 1/2hp 3 phase with a 10" swing. I am not a machinist just a hobbyist, and i am not affiliated with Logan Lathe Co (if they still exist)

If you reverse the lead screw rotation, will your cross feed would change direction? It was going from inside towards you, so to the outside of the work. But maybe changing direction of the leads screw will make it go inside or towards the lathe?

Yes if I stop the lathe and reverse the lead screw direction I could feed away from the headstock, and my cross feed would move from the outside of the work towards the center

I am, I haven't had any issues so far, it sees very little use so I can't talk for its longevity with heavy use, but for me it's working really well
