There's a lot you missed in this review..first off this is a fitness watch NOT a smartwatch...the sleep data is very detailed and helps you plan your days activities based on your your score..its similar to Garmin's body battery feature....this will also tell you the difference between the carbs, protein and fats you burned during your workout and will coach you based on all these metrics as to what type of workouts would benefit you the next day including if you should just rest...while you touched on those briefly I don't feel you described them very well
Well said. I tell people that Polars are what to get when you want accurate fitness watches with actual fitness software based on the best sports medicine. They aren't as fancy looking as other watches but they are better at what they do best.
The worst part about this watch (other than the damn seller recommended it to me and i bought it) is that you cannot even force it to stay always on without choosing the workout mode! I really need a watch for work that would stay on, because i cannot always move my hands to my face or make gestures when i want in my job, but i need to see the time. There is no customization on this watch! I recommend buying a 50 dollar watch instead of this hot trash!
hey mate, u can can have up 130 kind of sports to be tracked with the watch....u should read a bit the user the user manual, it seems that u don't really know what this watch is capable of when it's about sports tracking....also, u completely overlooked the polar flow ecosystem with full running programs up to a marathon...maybe next time u should specify that u make the review focusing on smart features cuz this review is far from full, for that pls check out Chase the Summit's channel. as a smartwatch is dumber than the GT2E for sure but as a sports tracker, it's way more premium than any huawei , amazfit or honor watch...cheers!
Tell me about it. This guy doesn't even know its a fitness tracker, not a smartwatch, and recommends to get a Huawei instead of this. Can't expect much from him
I'd love to get a polar watch but the branding on the face is too intrusive for me. Like, did they really need to cut the circular display to be flat on the bottom part just to fit that big ass logo?! If you want your watch to stand out enough for people to recognize the brand, make the design a bit more unique instead of forcing your shitty logo on the most visible part. It's basically a (worse) Garmin Venu with a Polar logo.
I have the original ignite and it has a bright display. And have had trouble with it just not working! Black display! Came back to life 2 months later!
Great review, well done. Can I please ask a a question, I have a polar h10 chest strap monitor and want a simple device to connect it to, like a watch which I can fix to my bicycle handlebars to monitor my heart rate constantly ( in large numbers and on screen all the time ) while I am cycling. I don’t need any other info like sleep etc, I just want it to show my heart rate constantly when I pair it to my H10. Can you recommend a device that would suit my basic needs please.
The time feature seems a little annoying, yea it's good to have the time but not on every main screen, would be like time never moves cause your always looking at it.
Personally, I am not a fan of the buttons being on the left side of the watch when its on the left wrist. My FitBit is the same and that’s why I’m thinking of getting rid of it in favour of another watch. I’m currently looking at the Amazfit Gtr2e or the OnePlus Smartwatch. Which one would you recommend most? Thanks
Good review, but I'd be interested to know problems over time. My (2 y.o.) Ignite 2 lost wrist-waking within a month and has now lost all touch screen functions.
my ignite 2 had a sudden drop in battery life time after around 2 years, plus the activity tracking got flawed as well. Instead of ~3 days I can only wear it for half a day at best before the battery dies. It was great for 2 years, now it's rather disappointing sadly
Too much talk and your own opinion. My wish would be to see from the beginning how the clock works. What should I do when the run starts, how will I finish the run and save things. Everything is half here.
Users of new Polar products are basically beta testers. After 12 months or so you'll get the final update with all features promised in commercials and 2 months later the successor will be in stores with the same hardware but some new software features. Polar could have easily updatet it's Vantage V, Vantage M and so on devices but decided to fuck over customers again.
Not a fan of the UI of the watch..it looks interesting in these videos..but I found it a pain to use. The screen of my ignite 1 is very unresponsive..to the point where i am starting to hammer my finger on the screen to get it to respond to my touch. Fitbit isnt perfect..but its better than this by a mile.
Fitbits break down ALL THE TIME...they replace them ONCE with refirbished garbage that breaks down again..Fit bit does not allow one major American big box store to cover their watches with their own replacement program just because they breakdown soooo often
@@deetles98 my 4 year old fitbit still works perfectly..but the start that was glued to the watch...came undone. I can completely see your point that their design is not as good. Then again...my polar watch looks perfect...but the GPS stopped working. After all that...I would still choose a fitbit... although I am eyeing the new garmins.
Not gonna give money to Huawei and their stupid watches that tell me I've burnt like 400+ calories, compared to other more serious fitness trackers. I want something that works great, not that looks nice. But hey... "Thanks".
Why do all these reviews look the same, I know what features it has and what screen I can look that up on the Internet, why not do some testing like running, biking and swimming (distance, heart rate, time, laps, lanes in the pool...etvc.) for example and tell us how it performed if results reliable, thats usefull not this kind of review thats a complete waste of time...

I pre-ordered the Ignite 2 and I can't wait to give it a test run. Thanks for pointing those things out he missed
Mee too!

The watch looks crap. He didnt need to go any deeper IMO
Mate, it’s a fitness tracker not a smart watch. How did TH-cam algorithms push you in my triathlon feed?
Have you ever run before?

Yes it’s not the prettiest but will track your workouts better than all the cheap and nasty watches

I wouldn’t call it a smartwatch to start. Polars and garmins are sports watches with some smart features.

240x204 pixels since it's not a circle... I know I am not going to get a lot of friends with this 😄

I am in doubt a about Polar Ignite2 and Galaxy Watch4 Classic, What is better??
Love your channel bro, You deserve more subs! ❤️
After watching the video, I think he deserves a lot less. What an idiot
Can you please review the Samsung A71 and/or A72?

I'll still wait for Google Pixel Smartwatch
Nice review mate but 200 smackers for that load of toss no thanks.
Always waiting for the point in the Video when he says "Shenanigans"!!

Somehow, I end up here every single day
why do we have to see Time always between the swipes !! it looks like a $50 watch
How are you doing?
Is that seriously a hundred and ninety-nine of your quids? It looks like a £25 kiddie watch.
Worth every cent, if you appreciate accuracy. Go get your Huawei already.
whats the price ??????
yo love your content.
Review the Haylou Solar LS05
Why you called it "flawed?"
Nice video bro!
Sir. Analysis Redmi Note10pro.pl video
They need to stop making their developers do design job. Some margin here and there would help with the eye sore.
Polar has 12 prestigious IF design awards (this might get award as well) so... Maybe you should let your mom choose your clothes.
Love from India ❤️
I love mine.
"When u got a roast in the oven"...😅
Looks a lot like galaxy active 2
This is really the worst interview ever comparing this to a smartwatch and acknowledge this one as such

Ummmm this is a fitness watch 😵 I agree it has some flaws but it is a cracker of an accurate tracker😂
Respect x 1000
Love your honest review, that watch is super fugly, Polar need to sort that crap out
"Ugly as sin..." 🤣🤣
I love you!
Touch response is so poor 😌😌
I've noticed the same. So unfortunate.
I came here after Henry Cavill post

No polar is a fitness brand, they make watches like Garmin 😵it's really obvious
hey guy give me your pixel 4a 5g
Haha, I think I can beat you in the 'feminine wrists' department mate!
🔴HELL NO SKIP THAT SHIT GUYS

I'm usually a fan on all types of smart watches but this one is pure bullocks.
It´s not a smart watch, a sports watch basically :-)
