I've seen that video that Chris was talking about. The fact that John calmly and respectfully confronted the guy, I can't see how John would have done it better without resorting to just giving the guy what he wanted, which John shouldn't have to. John handled himself proper and better than I have seen most celebrities which makes me respect John even more because he wasn't rude to the guy, he wasn't cussing him out, and the fact that he didn't blatantly tell the guy to get lost, I have to give John props. He is way more better than he gives himself credit for. John Cena, YOU should be awarded for keeping your cool and still being respectful to someone who was invading your privacy. You were in right and you deserve your privacy and deserve to be respected. I wish more people were like John Cena

If you happen to meet a wrestler or anyone in entertainment in real life doing anything in the public eye....
Always. Always. ALWAYS. Approach them with respect. Respect their time and their boundaries. Some entertainers may just be having a bad day....some may actually be assholes...but 97% of the time if you approach them with kindness and care for any possible interaction they will gladly take a picture or talk with you for a few minutes. Just dont be an asshole. Cena was absolutely in the right to be annoyed.
That goes for every other celebrity aswell. Most of these guys get filmed everyday so last they want is to be filmed again

He's managing his personal brand, so he does actually have a lot on the line if someone wants to use his own words to make him seem one way or another, which is very easy to do. You're right, just being with someone shouldn't have any effect on your public image, but he's specifically referring to if he would engage with this person and what that person that he knows nothing about could twist his image into.
