Are you still using the r10? It’s getting better now with the sigma lenses that are available now and the ones coming. I have a lumix s5ii. I like it but it’s a little big for street photography
Yeah yeah i'm still using it. ABSOLUTELY! With the new RF Sigma lenses it's going to be a very popular choice. Stronger than an M100 or M50, ton's of good features, nice price and now THE PERFECT and budget lenses too. You can go for a zoom or a pretty good Prime lens selection on a "budget". Or at least in my country they priced it very well. I could buy 2 new rf lenses with my Sigma 24-70mm lens money 😅 I understand your concern that you would rather go with the R10. I'm the opposit, I'm more like filmmaking, video guy and an S5ii would be better for me :D
I only have the 24-70mm 2.8 from Sigma now. But. I would really like to have a 70-200. That would be my second lens. And after that get a 16mm at least. Because i have trouble with wide shots... Because i only use one lens i can't help you, but maybe it is help. To tell my plan about lenses. :)
Hi, well it's kind of the question you have to know. Because it's 2 different system/brand I have a canon, with canon mount etc. If i want to change to sony, i have to change everything compatible with Canon right now. But if i could go back in time, i would go for Sony. Everyone makes really good cameras these days but i like the Sony line. My plan is to get an FX-30. And if you decide on one side, it's nice to go with the same in the future. So you can build up lenses and you don't have to worry if it's okay for other cameras.
Good video. I use an M50 and planning to strat my channel soon. Considering bnuying an R line camera when I travel abroad, outside my tax heavy country. Considering r7, r8 and r10.
It’s like.. 70 minutes? 🤷🏽 in 4K 24fps continuosly record. But I just bought 1 more lp-e17 battery and it’s good. Or you can get V-mount battery If you taking It seriously
And, if you want to take pictures, I think you can use it on an event all day long. But like i said, a spare battery is not so expensive. Good to have at least one more.
It's difficult to work with hdr pq because the canon r10 record in this mode with the h.265 and not every computer can open it. I found the solution of convert in h.264 in Adobe media encoder but I don't know if it keeps the original quality.

Hi, do you think a Canon R10 or a Sony A7iii is better for video purposes? I will do photography as well though.

If you can afford I would go for the r7. Weather sealded, LO profile, aps-c sensor, IBIS
Battery running time??

HDR pq mode vid coming
Yes, I am planning to make that video. I currently test that mode to see the capabilites.

@jaimedelcampo1050 Yes I feel It 😁😂 I use Davinci Resolve and make proxy files during the Edit 🤷🏽
