If the aircraft is 25 years old it is not old by aviation standard . As long as it gets regular services it is young. Any idea how many km it has covered ?
If it is commercial aircraft then the age could be a factor because it would have clocked thousands of miles or km. Even that, most airlines just replace the engine with new engine and new landing gear. The aircraft is new and start flying again.
