I think the manuals are just to get us excited, then as you say Dave, a man just has to put it to the side and get stuck in. Top Job Sir, and Cindy was the perfect assistant, thanks again Guys, cant wait to see the beast in action Peace and blessings 😊

I have one of these from Princess Auto and have used it at the cabin to dig a power trench from cabin to garage. I have cleared a pad for garage and pole barn. I have removed stumps up to 20 inches in diameter. It is the best $4000.00 I have ever spent. It is amazing how much power it has for its size. You wont be disappointed with it.

Right On Sparky! We got ours together on the weekend ... we live 50 km's from Grande PRairie, ALberta. We had a damaged fitting which sent us back to Princess Auto ... that was a bit of a deal, as they dont carry rebuild kits or parts for these things (yet?) and they had to rebuild a whole new line but they got 'er done and reimbursed for fuel, on account of the hickup. No video, cause we're not that tech inclined but we did do a couple short recordings of progress. 3.5 hours (minus the run back to the city) with a heavy duty mechanic at the helm and a strapping young man help'n with the lift. They also used a motor hoist to assist. CHEERS! Cant want to see what you do with yours first. We're assembled but no dig'n YET. ON YER MARK .... GET SET.... !!!! ❤ 🇨🇦

Sparky it’s me again, had stopped your vid before completion, now I see the oil mark, I believe I just didn’t have enough hydraulic oil in my system as of yet, only put in2 gallons yesterday and then looked at the meter and realized now that I probably need more oil and that that meter is for both fluid level and fluid temp. My bad, but again thx for the great video.

  • @Farm_fab

Dave, you might want to put an electric start kit on your engine, along with a remote throttle control. That way, when you climb on, you dont need to stand behind it to startit, but its more like a real backhoe. eBay sells these kits for the 270 engine. One further upgrade is to buy an additional charging coil to charge the battery faster.
I plan to add electric start to a 5500 watt generator i have, as its definitely heavy to start by hand.

A ripper tooth will help u to. If you can weld make one around 100.00 and bolt to bucket. Tooth will help for roots

The easiest way to install the cylinders is to remove the plugs or caps in the cylinders, and then extend the cylinder rod. Air in the cylinders will naturally work its way out. However, if there's oil in the cylinders, this might not be the nest method.

The commercial selling a new kind of pipe wrench, makes it sound like they have come up with a new wrench, I hate to tell them but they have been around for years, There wrench looks like its made of plastic or pot metal.
