A2 won because she had help in both fighting and hacking. 9S was stronger than them and would have won.
A2 won because she is stronger than 9S as she is an Attacker Model designed for combat while 9S is a Scanner Model meant for scouting & data analysis.
The only help A2 received from Pod 042 was in hacking.
