Elvis is only artist i know who can sing so many genres, rock, country, r&b, gospel, ballads, pop, rockabilly, and contemporary music. He is timeless, thats why he will never die. This is Live. No auto tune or tech, old speakers, microphone etc. He soumds awesome. Singers today should learn from him.
Paul Simon was in the audience when Elvis sang it in Las Vegas and he said that when he heard Elvis sing it that he that no one could do it any better!
My mum died slowly in a hospital over the course of three years suffering from infection and permanent brain damage. I'm not exaggerating when I say that every single time I left the hospital after visiting and got in my car, I put that Elvis performance on. Every time without fail. I'd sit there to cry, or to stare into space, or to forget reality. Near the end I stopped this. I wasn't sick of it, things had just reached a point where no song could help me...but she is gone now and not suffering anymore. This performance will always hold a very special place in my heart.

His hair, looks, fashion, dance moves (Michael Jackson used his moves), he is the original O.G. he influenced all who came after him, since 1955. He fused coun, gospel, r&b and made rock and roll. Thats why he is called The King
Elvis was probably one of the best live performers. His style, his vocal abilities , his musicianship, his looks, his personality, his humor, his moves - unmatched in my opinion. Elvis did write music but he also performed a lot of music written by others. To me it really didn’t matter cause it felt like they could have been his words they way he performed it.

Quality (if one were to buy the DVD) is very sharp, like it was recorded today. This concert film is an excellent film about a more modern Elvis, with unlimited energy, that you will ever find. 1970 was the Year Of Elvis for sure.

You young people have no concept of what the meaning of this song is. He is singing about Jesus being there when you are all alone, down and out, sad and can't find a friend. This is a song about the Glory of Jesus Christ. Praise God!!!
You need to do Simon and Garfunkel's Original LP version it is so much better. Paul Simon wrote the song for Art Garfunkel and when reactors listen to it they usually come to the opinion that the Simon and Garfunkel version (on the record) is the GOAT.
