I can say I appreciate SeeReax wanting to actually learn how to play the deck and take the bumps and bruises along the way. Sure he could’ve played something “optimal” for pure Kosmo, but if there’s one thing I learned from watching his yugioh videos is that he’s in his element when he builds the deck on his own. I think anything less than that wouldn’t be the authentic SeeReax we all have come to love and admire

I love Sam telling Deion that half the cards in his deck are the best card in his deck. Reminds me of Grandpa in Yugioh Abridged (literally anything not even just cards): "That"s the most powerful card in all of Duel Monsters!" 😂

I'd just like to say I appreciate Seereax keeping a positive attitude despite getting his cheeks clapped for over a month now. Like Sam says he's our boy he's actually our boy.
General rule of thumb:
If the video is 30 mins or longer sam won
If the video is 20 mins or shorter sereax won
if its inbetween its a flip of a coin

I will say i am disappointed in Deion with the kosmo deck. He did add e-teley in his deck. Which would've got him a psychic on the board almost all the time. I also think Deion should just look up some combo videos before his next spin so then the duels can be closer. He almost lost to time trying to figure out the deck.

I like that SeeReax enjoys Kozmo. What Sam was trying to tell him is that the deck is a crossover between Star Wars and Wizard of Oz (which is a lot of fun, and the cards have a counterpart in the other's story such as Dark Witch being Darth Vader).

Honestly I think the hard part is SeeReax having to read all the cards Sam plays and figure out how to use a deck he has never used within the time limit.

I actually really enjoyed this duel this week. The one thing that I would like to see in this series is a longer timer to play because SeeReax is almost always destined to lose the first game if he is reading cards the whole time and ends up with a 30 second timer and has to rush play all of his cards that he doesn't exactly know what they do. This is even more prominent in the higher tiers as you need to know how your cards work together to make plays. Longer timer please!!!
Following Decks are in my Opinion not belonging to the B-Tier on that wheel:
Despiar is practically branded and belongs to A-tier.
Magician Pendulum is way to strong for B-Tier.
Borrel/Topologic is practically Dragon-link and therefor also A-Tier.
One could also make a case for Dark Magician with all its support to be A-Tier. At the very least it is high B and does not really belong on the same board as Infernoid, A-to-Z and F.A.
Optimal Kozmo on top of drawing like the Pharaoh himself is probably B-tier 5 years ago. I really do think the wheel needs another once over, but I do understand properly evaluating a deck/archetype's power is legitimately difficult when they just aren't overwhelingly powerful or incomprehensibly bad.
I know this was the “same” tier, but the decks were definitely on opposite ends of the tier. Wheel needs to be rebalanced for sure.
They are a difference in power but seereax didn't play some super important kozmo cards

Deck building issue, not tier issue.
Card of the soul and E-Tele could've been good cards for consistency for pure Kozmo. Like they said in the video, Sam knows the higher tiered decks better and can probably construct more consistent decks (and sometimes with help from his friends). Seereax wants to build them himself, including some card that might not be optimal or as great as others. But you gotta respect than, and tired of people constatnly complaining. Let them do their series.
I think its dope that seereax does his own thing with decks and they work pretty well. I make new decks on master duel all the time and i gotta play the SP deck challenges multiple times to figure out how the deck works and he is playing against sam of all people who is no slouch at yugioh.
Im changing side now, sam the villain we thought is the true hero all along and seereax just becomin a villain in this game now

Sam was like this annoying guy at my locals. I was playing unchained against someone else, made a misplay. Said "Oh damn I made a mistake, I should have done X" to my opponent and then this other guy who finished his round came through to explain to both of us the mistake that I had made even though I had already acknowledged and knew exactly what the misplay was.
Call me cray, but the wheel doesn’t seem to take into account the support each deck has access to, per the rules, cause I don’t think Kozmo compares to 90% of the decks here and im pretty sure Tenyi wins every single matchup.
Yeah it seems like the wheel is designed based on outside archetype support which means the wheel is entirely random even in tiers.

Definitely. As a stand alone archetype, Kosmo doesn’t belong in the same category as Tenyi.
In this case I actually think Kosmo makes sense in B, but Tenyi should for sure be higher up. It has the SwoSo support basically built in

Mild cheating is the best part of most YuGiOh series imo. Yugioh characters literally cheated all the time 😂
SeeReax made so many mistakes with Kozmo BUT I think we all do playing it because they almost don't feel like Yugioh cards. Between the weird smashed together theme of Oz meets Star Wars of all things and their ability to jump off without anything but an opponent farting to set them off they are just so...alien. But one tip is to use the pilots to loop back to the machines by intentionally destroying them. Also just saying not sure if it's forbidden or not but E-Telly + Cosmo can make up for the fact they have no Pends or ways to swam and some generic Psychic support actually can do a lot for them especially on the regaining life. Heck generic life gain staples should be up for grabs since most Kozmos will kill you by mismatching when to pay.
My favorite plays:
Soul Absorbtion to make up for their LP cost. Not as overpowered as Metaphys or other "banish for the hell of it" effects but it can give you extra effect when you normally would die from trying to get it.
Dark Hole + Pilot/Vechile = get back the opposite. On theme and it's actually got a few interesting plays though you might want to swap it for Torrential against non-memes because Dark Hole is so easily countered.
Any Chaos Support: They are Light and Dark but don't go in so hard you lose your ability to play them out. Remember they banish themselves sometimes so you might not have what you need when you think you do. ^^;;
As for their Extra Deck...honestly generic XYZ and machine support aren't bad. XYZ is something Psyhics struggled with last time I played them and curious Links as well.
Almost miss Master Drool remember how much fun I had with these guys. ^_^.....Then I remember the day the Swordsoul took them away from me. Adamancipator was my only shield until I discovered the Scareclaw way and so it progressed until I would have had to give into Runik, Kash or something elese that went against my very soul for 40 gems a day for five hours?! So glad Kozmo are in DL except Dark Planet which let's be honest probably needs to be through skill because it's hard to summon but harder to remove once summoned. In Speed Duels it would be toxic somehow. XD Anyway good video even with Sam's DRAMATIC FINISH at the end. ^_- As a Tenyi player I have say I do love doing that to them as well. Also that pure Tenyi is DL and I can go try a few combos I saw that even I haven't done yet.
Ever since Sam had his friend build his deck for him Im never gonna take him seriously for the rest of this series.

I feel seereax maybe should play a couple of duels before entering the game specially if he is playing a brand new deck.
He literally spins a wheel and makes the deck right then and there. Dueling beforehand goes against what the whole series is about.

The tier wheel 100% takes in to account outside support. Ive seen Kozmo and versed it and been cooked, with an extra deck. Pure kozmo is not equal to pure Tenyi, at all

Sam knows all decks in the game so he gets frustrated when he wins too easily, he wants a good video, a lot of times Sam will actually intentionally lose or throw a match for content, to him the most important thing is making a really entertaining video

On a serious note, without Sam “initially” throwing or giving Deon advice, he’d beat him almost every time. Ive watch them play at least 25 matches where Sam made a rookie mistake or handicapped himself to make the series or vid interesting.

If it was reversed and sam got kozomo and seereax got tenyi sam would still have won. Seereax is only good at old bad decks. All of the newer high tier decks sam is waaaay better because he actually know how to play them. Hes a competitive yugioh player. Seereax isnt. Get over it.

I think I've seen clips from this episode before. Not sure when or how but at one point I knew what was about to happen.
Nah if he doesn't want to learn that's on him. The real problem is the balance of these decks. You can't say kosmos without an extra deck is on the same level as a Tenyi deck with an extra deck.
The wheel needs some calibrating. There is no way in hell Kozmo and Tenyi are on the same power level. I guess it is pointless since you guys already filmed the entire B wheel episodes ahead lol but still, Calibrate the wheel.
tiers A, S, S+ are also unbalanced. Vampires in A tier is crazy
@@jipusuchief Yeah, I think there are two issues between differences in perspective in what is and isn't good in a pure format, and then influences from the deck in a less restricted format

Kozmo beats Tenyi here for sure, at least 70% of times. Tenyi at first glance seems more stacked but Kozmo has better combos and ways to clear the board and go for game.
Sam is like the tournament players try and lecture you on how you should've played better regardless of how the match goes. He goes like, "You should've won when I did this. I conditioned you. I was conditioning you and you were not supposed to go for that move. Why didn't you just counter? Why didn't you just jump punish?"
