I've made about 10k selling black diamonds during the prepatch. Bought upwards of 13k during vanilla, spent maybe 700g total for the lot. If only I could invest like this in real life

AH flipping is such a hack for people that can't play that much. I login before work in the morning, (buy time) and after work before dinner (buy and repost) In 10-15 minutes twice a day I make between 1-2k depending on sales.

If you buy early morning, and late afternoon the prices will (in general) be lower from people farming and posting throughout the morning. You buy up the lower priced items till a comfortable price breakpoint, then undercut large stack quantities further down the buy list. You do this with proffesion mats, particularly old-world mats like mithril bars, they have lower posting cost. For one example, this week I've been buying mithril bars from 1.35g to 1.8g and selling for 2.45-2.7g on my server and one night stacks @ 3.2g. By flipping I'm making nearly 1g per bar on the flip. You don't want to buy too much of one item because people undercut big stacks and you want to move most of what you sell, and if that market crashes you will tank your gold. So always diversify. I do 6-8 items so I can keep better track of those markets.

I do not have the knowlegde to sit and play the AH so I would proberly loose the small amount of Gold that I have. OK, I've seen these videos, my main is a holy pally, I don't have Dual Spec yet. I currently have just under 10k from farming. I've not ventured into any dungeons yet, as being a holy pally (until wrath) it was painful killing anything. Should I DSpec into Tank or Ret? What are the talents (for Prot pally) that you use for these dungeon runs remembering that I don't have much gear. My professions are Mining & Engineering with Fishing, Cooking & First Aid (all maxed).
Dualspec into prot if you like doing solo dungeon grinds it's the way to go. If you wanna level in dungeons too since you'll be useful for most groups if you wanna quest ret might still be nicer but for farming definitely prot (first respec is 1g so you can go prot til launch and cheaply respec I to you leveling build

Since the farm is basicly dying down, i would suggest farming Steamvaults too. I've made godly amounts of gold soloing on my dk for 2 weeks now. It's better than any other farm you list in the vid. Not sure what prices for armaments are on the fresh server but on Firemaw they were going over 5g/each because people need the rep for achievements and head enchant for dks. With 4 mining nodes that are in sv each run you would make around 500g/hour. Even more if you are mining/herb or mining/ench. I was just mining and getting close to that.
TSM does all the AH stuff but in the addon, you don't need to keep referencing a website. I love restedXP for leveling but TSM is just better for AH and crafting.
If playing the game is your job, youll have gold, even if you dont want it. Me, with full time job, who likes to play other games too, every once in a while, will never compete

Yeah but at that point it probably won't be worth farming TBC dungeons anymore. Who needs TBC materials in Wrath, outside of skilling up professions? And the raw gold from drops isn't very much compared to any decent WotLK farm.
mana tombs is also nice : mining 2nd boss(you can also skip 1st to save some time on the runs) gives around 7 adamantite ore + 6 plannar essences + couple of green/blue gems
I buy things on AH that are short duration and have a bid of 1c. I won the bids for 2 x pristine diamond and sold them on for 95s each in AH. This helped me alot as I am on a fresh server and only level 30 atm lol.

The best flip i ever made was buying the scraps u need for naxx gear. I started selling arcane crystals on my alliance account and bought is for some Silver on my horde accound using bootybay AH. Then I bought plate scraps on horde ah for like 2-12 gold and sold them on bootybay ah to my ally char. Ended up erarning 60 000 in 6 weeks.

Always debate on running JC over BS for my paladin. I often just don't go JC on my paladin because I don't plan on maining it so I never know if I will learn really good gem cuts.
I’m on gehennas and it takes like a full hour to list auctions with tsm. Only way to do it quicker is manually but I just cba. I’ll literally only do dailies for gold in wotlk if the ah is broken from now on
This addon is completely broken for anyone wondering. The prices are jacked up, not all servers are listed, and it only shows options for cooking and JC. Definitely not worth paying for. TBH, I wouldn't even use it if it was free.
Fresh economy they said. Even playing field they said. No bots they said. OMEGALUL No matter if a server is 16 days old or 16 months old, it's the player knowledge and mentality of 2022 that shatter the fresh andys' romantic dreams.
With JC and TSM specifically, what you can do is setup rules for the gems you want to sell, say... all gems with a 0.3 or higher sell rate (basically means they sell within minutes most of the time) and add a "stock" limit of say 5 each. Then you go into crafting and you press the re-stock button, it will create a "buy" list of the gems you want to buy, together with a craft list, then you open AH and press a single button and it searches all the gems and you can press buy and it will buy UNTIL it reaches the stock of 5 each, then you can press 1 button to remove them from mail and 1 button to mass mail them to your JC alt, press 1 button to logout, go into your alt, press 1 button to open mail, 1 button to craft (the craft list is already setup, no need to remember anything), and 1 button to mail it back to your bank alt and 1 button (spammed) to sell. For gems, it feels like a ton of work because you only do between 3 to 5 each but add necks where you have to buy multiple "sub" items to craft them and it quickly becomes a big time saver. On Mirage Raceway, it wasnt uncommon to have a craft list with 7k gold in it, that would net 30/40% profit by the time it all sold. Obviously, if you go all out and invest too much you will have too much stock and lower prices, so, stock control becomes a thing. Another cool thing with TSM is that it can auto-upload your sales to their website and show you performance graphs. I used this a ton in order to cut back on investments that were slowing down
@@jamesbyrd3740 botting is totally different. I used to make an AH bot and that one was insane. It would gatekeep the market and keep it stable by soaking up materials from botters and paying higher prices to player farmed mats. Then shuffle them and take small profits that way but at a massive scale. TSM isnt botting.

I can only do BF for 2 hours before I have to switch to Ramp or Strat. They all give roughly the same amount of gold and switching up helps with mental fatigue
TSM literally does the same thing as that affiliate link of yours, but its free and real time with real ah pricing, and on major servers you dont nearly make as much profit as say your fresh server

I've been playing for the last 4 months and am at 2100g lol. Granted I've spent a ton of gold. I enjoyed farming DME on lock in vanilla but I've hated the way gold is farmed in tbc and wrath. I don't think paladins should ever be good at anything, it really bugs me 😂
Saw people selling wool for 2g a stack got em all 59 full stacks and they sold for 9g40 silver and b4 i loged of i saw again 32 stacks for 4g got em all relisted em for 8g90s just loom at what people are buying on ah..
My man, I like your videos and all, and I'm cheering for you. However, the amount of gold that you currently posses is an indication that bots have already devoured these so called fresh realms and the population is infested with gold buyers. There is no other way around it. I've been using TSM on a "professional" level for over 10 years. I've played on multiple fresh realms and I know all the tricks that you showed in this video and more. and I can tell you that the amounts that you show in the auction house are completely inflated and it's not just because of the lack of people at max level and lack of mats. it's mostly because these people already bought the gold and now don't care spending it. If we take the examples that you gave here. first the food. If you're a hardcore player that is worried about their hit rating in raids, you'd level up your cooking to save money on food. leveling cooking as you go is extremely cheap and simple especially during a fresh server launch since everybody floods the AH with mats that no one can afford. So there is absolutely 0 chance that a "broke" person would spend even 10g on a stack of hit food when they can get it for significantly less. the amount you show matches a situation that a person has plenty of money and they don't worry about things like dual spec and fast flying. The other example is the gems that you showed. the difference between an epic and a blue gem in terms of performance is so low that there is no justification of putting epic gems on gear that you're about to switch within 2 weeks. even if you're a hardcore player you'd search for a JC to cut the gems for you. if you already clear SWP a week into the fresh server, there is someone in your group that can cut these. getting the rep for some of these cuts will require multiple trash runs in MH and MGT and a "hardcore guild" would just run these. The general population will not spend money on that sort of stuff if they don't have a lot of it already. Lastly, checking the main goldselling website shows that the price of gold on fresh realms is identical almost to the other realms which means that they are infested with gold. This video gives a solid base to believe that not only blizzard allows bots to plague the classic servers, they may actually be connected to the gold selling websites directly.
Guys, if you play on average 16-18 hours a day you'll end up with a decent amount of gold, simple as that really.

Are you running your pally with a special aoe build or just a standard tank build?

yeah, farming old content arent exactly good when you have current.. Only strat and scholo worked for runes and such in TBC.. Wotlk another story

The best flip i ever made was buying the scraps u need for naxx gear. I started selling arcane crystals on my alliance account and bought is for some Silver on my horde accound using bootybay AH. Then I bought plate scraps on horde ah for like 2-12 gold and sold them on bootybay ah to my ally char. Ended up erarning 60 000 in 6 weeks.

For me so far the best farm is ramparts as retri. 400g/h not counting bandages from first aid as full brutal + badges trinket.

Always debate on running JC over BS for my paladin. I often just don't go JC on my paladin because I don't plan on maining it so I never know if I will learn really good gem cuts.
I’m on gehennas and it takes like a full hour to list auctions with tsm. Only way to do it quicker is manually but I just cba. I’ll literally only do dailies for gold in wotlk if the ah is broken from now on

This addon is completely broken for anyone wondering. The prices are jacked up, not all servers are listed, and it only shows options for cooking and JC. Definitely not worth paying for. TBH, I wouldn't even use it if it was free.

What about steamvaults? 3 to 4 mines .Me ret pally and resto shaman friend like that one too.
With JC and TSM specifically, what you can do is setup rules for the gems you want to sell, say... all gems with a 0.3 or higher sell rate (basically means they sell within minutes most of the time) and add a "stock" limit of say 5 each.
Then you go into crafting and you press the re-stock button, it will create a "buy" list of the gems you want to buy, together with a craft list, then you open AH and press a single button and it searches all the gems and you can press buy and it will buy UNTIL it reaches the stock of 5 each, then you can press 1 button to remove them from mail and 1 button to mass mail them to your JC alt, press 1 button to logout, go into your alt, press 1 button to open mail, 1 button to craft (the craft list is already setup, no need to remember anything), and 1 button to mail it back to your bank alt and 1 button (spammed) to sell.
For gems, it feels like a ton of work because you only do between 3 to 5 each but add necks where you have to buy multiple "sub" items to craft them and it quickly becomes a big time saver.
On Mirage Raceway, it wasnt uncommon to have a craft list with 7k gold in it, that would net 30/40% profit by the time it all sold. Obviously, if you go all out and invest too much you will have too much stock and lower prices, so, stock control becomes a thing.
Another cool thing with TSM is that it can auto-upload your sales to their website and show you performance graphs. I used this a ton in order to cut back on investments that were slowing down
just straight botting... no agency, no thinking. just bot scripts and scroll wheel
@@jamesbyrd3740 botting is totally different. I used to make an AH bot and that one was insane. It would gatekeep the market and keep it stable by soaking up materials from botters and paying higher prices to player farmed mats. Then shuffle them and take small profits that way but at a massive scale.

Nice to see you playing Horde mate. I’ve been doing Blood Furnace normal as Ret in Ret gear with DEing. Pretty decent gold per hour but just feels more mentally draining than Strathholme.
I can only do BF for 2 hours before I have to switch to Ramp or Strat. They all give roughly the same amount of gold and switching up helps with mental fatigue

Im in pretty decent gear on my pally, and I REALLY struggle with mana unless I have 4+ mobs on me. Thats with seal of wis, judge of wis, and sanct.
TSM literally does the same thing as that affiliate link of yours, but its free and real time with real ah pricing, and on major servers you dont nearly make as much profit as say your fresh server
So much for fresh economies evening the playing field lol. Give it another 3 weeks and there will be plenty of gold selling sites up

Lol. Here is more proof that bots do not cause inflation. I am on Grobb and our prices are nowhere near as high as this. This isnt a prop for botting but i keep saying how bots drive prices down. It sucks for sellers but damn its good to have everything so cheap. I love the bots lol.

I've been playing for the last 4 months and am at 2100g lol. Granted I've spent a ton of gold. I enjoyed farming DME on lock in vanilla but I've hated the way gold is farmed in tbc and wrath. I don't think paladins should ever be good at anything, it really bugs me 😂

My man, I like your videos and all, and I'm cheering for you.
However, the amount of gold that you currently posses is an indication that bots have already devoured these so called fresh realms and the population is infested with gold buyers.
There is no other way around it.
I've been using TSM on a "professional" level for over 10 years. I've played on multiple fresh realms and I know all the tricks that you showed in this video and more.
and I can tell you that the amounts that you show in the auction house are completely inflated and it's not just because of the lack of people at max level and lack of mats. it's mostly because these people already bought the gold and now don't care spending it.
If we take the examples that you gave here. first the food. If you're a hardcore player that is worried about their hit rating in raids, you'd level up your cooking to save money on food. leveling cooking as you go is extremely cheap and simple especially during a fresh server launch since everybody floods the AH with mats that no one can afford. So there is absolutely 0 chance that a "broke" person would spend even 10g on a stack of hit food when they can get it for significantly less. the amount you show matches a situation that a person has plenty of money and they don't worry about things like dual spec and fast flying.
The other example is the gems that you showed. the difference between an epic and a blue gem in terms of performance is so low that there is no justification of putting epic gems on gear that you're about to switch within 2 weeks. even if you're a hardcore player you'd search for a JC to cut the gems for you. if you already clear SWP a week into the fresh server, there is someone in your group that can cut these. getting the rep for some of these cuts will require multiple trash runs in MH and MGT and a "hardcore guild" would just run these.
The general population will not spend money on that sort of stuff if they don't have a lot of it already.
Lastly, checking the main goldselling website shows that the price of gold on fresh realms is identical almost to the other realms which means that they are infested with gold.
This video gives a solid base to believe that not only blizzard allows bots to plague the classic servers, they may actually be connected to the gold selling websites directly.
