I wanted to see who'd let you know, but nobody commented it. Your "dash through enemy effect" comes from your ring. Your rings always affect your dash in some way. Fetishes give you a passive ability, and relics give you an active effect.
The Hailstorm rifle is probably the best long range weapon. HUGE range and it hits like a truck. It's amazing.
Final note: Hangfire technically has infinite range. The rounds themselves may not do full damage, but the explosions will at basically any range.
so if i dont have a ring for that it wont let me dash through? also the ring i had didnt describe about dashing through enemies. but thank you for explaining!
@@ProtoShard I guess I needed to look closer at what you had. Either way, there is a ring that allows dashing through enemies.
Also, that whistling/whispering sound you heard on the scarlet coast is a cursed treasure. Picking them up gives you a decent chunk of gold. You have a choice of risking a curse when you pick it up (damage, lowered stats, etc.) or cleanse it with witchfire and take it safely.
@michaelmontesvo doesnt one of those cursed treasures start the calamity or something?
@@ProtoShard I don't believe that they do. If so, though, a calamity isn't that horrible. Use the Ice Sphere heavy spell and sit safe while taking whatever needs to die out.
Last thing, I swear! If you want to level your weapons quickly, then take the Madwoman's Eye off. The Madwoman's Eye will kill enemies and it won't count for your weapons.

I've never seen this game before, but I'm here for it.
I slept VERY HARD on this weapon, until I received the first upgrade. Afterwards it immediately became my favorite weapon in the game.
If im worried about calamities, i cleanse with witchfire and consider it the cost of business. When i want to spawn a calamity, i use the cursed objects and mushrooms to trigger it easy. My inventory is usually full of clusters when i want to level up.
This game is pretty fun I never heard of it but make me want it

The phantom range on melee enemies is ridiculous.
It might feel that way because of high FOV

Did you start running with the head? I can’t tell in the video since there was a jump cut. When you have the head, you can only sneak (crouch) or walk. If you run, it will trigger the head to explode.

Its not a very "new" gun but really fun to be honest.
Hangfire once fully upgraded you have no reason to have a rifle it's probably the best long-distance gun in the game hit them 2 or 3 times reload, and they will just explode and die
the fire sniper is very strong literally cheese for the hardest boss in the game atm. do you have to reload the hangfire for it to work well? seems kind of unintuitive to use if thats the case
@Brutes_ well i mean it only has 6 rounds so constant reload but it explodes everytime. doesnt that sound good?
@@ProtoShard I guess if the damage is good enough It didnt seem that great when i used it and the reload seemed very slow. I would try it again if the game had more to do
@@Brutes_ yeah makes sense. also if youre lucky you can get the fast reload perk and that helps alot more
