As a person who grew up in the Harambee neighborhood my grandfather pastored a church in the neighborhood…. never mind. 🤦🏾‍♂️

Freedom of expression- this mural is bringing attention to the point of view that many do not agree with but many do.

The swastika has the same meaning to Jews as the KKK emblem has to Black Americans. Think about it! Would you agree with a KKK emblem being painted over a symbol of slavery and call it "freedom of expression"?

Honestly a swastika is never okay anywhere no matter your views

@@andyb2040 It may mean very different things to different people, jut like Hammer and Sickle, Cross or the Star of David, etc.

we need freedom of speech and expression for the views we disagree with. if everyone agrees on something, it doesn't need protection. you can think someone has deplorable views and still stand up for their right to express those deplorable views.

It's no different than displaying a BLM flag and also the people destroying or complaining about the mural need to mind their own business and leave it alone.

I love the building owner's conviction! He's right...people crying over this should be more concerned with what their country is bankrolling in Gaza. The American dehumization of Palestinians is deplorable!! So if this mural is what you're angry about as a genocide is taking place, you need to rethink your priorities.
