The quality of this video is incredible, the editing, the shots, the music... Your patience and clarity when explaining the different steps is very enjoyable 🥰 Thank you so much for your work !
Your videos have everything I’ve wanted from a sewing channel. It’s not simply tutorials but a deeper and far more enriching story behind the item of clothing. I feel I’m getting the fashion degree I missed out on. Not to mention the cinematic camerawork, the aesthetic, your own soothing voice and style. I don’t want your videos on my laptop, I watch them on my TV. Girl, I would pay for your Patreon. Just please keep making these videos. Thank you❤
I write comments rarely, but this video made me so happy and inspired! I am so excited to see a creator from Belarus, my home country, who makes such beautiful and unique content! Please, continue your series! 🦢💌
that makes me really happy and excited! It is my first time making instructions like these. If you find any inconsistencies or struggle with smth please do get back to me :)
Mesmerized! - sewing methods, the unusual music, the ASMR, your voice - everything. Can't wait to start re-vamping my (very) lackluster under garments. ❤️
Hmmm. As I guy I'm wondering if I should make an attempt for myself... I'm a couturier and I too am making my whole wardrobe. Although I'm well aware of the labor demands and the laundry demands relative to usage... its not for the weak. Though the thought of batch producing maybe 20 excites me.
I am so happy to find your channel! As an Eastern European girlie here I can relate to the things that you're saying so much! Also silk underwear is the best and most hygienic ever! ❤❤
This is an amazing made video! Very inspiring! Also very aesthetically pleasing and well made, thank you so much! Love the background story throughout, the drawings and the fabrics. I am looking forward to the rest of the series a lot!
This is absolutely lovely! Would you ever make a tutorial on how to make a brasserie? I found other videos, but yours is more clear and easy to follow! I wish you a lovely day!
Hi Katerina, you are the sweetest person. It's a delight to watch your videos. A bit like traveling away to a fictional reality. They are beautifully shot, I like the light, the colors. Your explanations are very clear and I am a complete beginner. Thank you. I am doing an art project about upcycling clothes so I am learning to pattern and sew. Can I make your patterns for that purpose? I find your knowledge very impressive, and love the books you show, not to mention all the samples, thread and little boxes you keep them in. Life is not like that around here. I am from Mexico. Best wishes.
Here from TikTok And I have to say, I absolutely love this! It’s a joy to see not only an appreciation for sustainability but also and exploration and appreciation for the fabric ❤ so intentional and lovely!
Hey Sadie :) Thank you. I'll reply to your TikTok message here, because of space. If I understood it correctly, you don't have enough fabric in the back at the 14-10 line? In that case the fix is pretty simple, you either don't make it curvy at all (skip the 17' point) or make it even curve outwards. On normal briefs, this line goes usually in an S-Curve. I made it slightly more revealing :D If you want to make an S-Curve, you'd have to 14-10 by 3. Than mark the 1/3 from 10. At this point you can make the line curve outwards. I really hope I understood you right and that helps, otherwise you can write me :)
These look so lovely! Best thing tiktok has shown me in ages! I have a quick question on the drafting instructions- is the mirror line using the full hip and seat measurements or are they halved? I'm a little confused by the phrasing.
i can't wait to try this. i saw a great tip on TT to do the smallest length stitch on the starts of a seam for fabrics like silk instead of backstitching, then after a few stitches, change to desired length.
I'm very impressed with you skills having just discovered your channel. I don't use silk nowadays as I'm a vegetarian but I might be able to make something in a soft but firm cotton if I'm looking for a woven fabric. I'm an oldster and making underwear for myself is one way I can have nice things. My sewing skills are fair to middling but I'm making things for myself so it's not like I'm trying to do it as a profession.
Hi! Thank you so much for the video, this is beautiful! I just had a question, I’m trying to make it, without a surger, and I am really struggling with the elastic, do you have any tips ? I’m doing it with coton jersey, which I thought would be easy enough but I’m thinking I’m just too much of a beginner ahah. Thanks !
Hello:) Can you describe a bit more what you're struggling with exactly? if you're using cotton jersey, your fabric is already stretchy, so you won't need to stretch the elastic while sewing it on :)
New to your channel, thank you for taking the time to create such detailed videos. I'm not familiar with the tools/ papers you're using in the video, can you create a list of what your using in the beggining? Especially the folder ( i think it's a folder ) where you drawn and put your pattern in?
this is a wonderful video, Katerina😄 i was wondering if i could use a zigzag stitch to replicate the ruffles while sewing the elastic. my machine has an over-edge- stitch and im not sure if that is interchangeable with an overlock stitch. thanks!
Hi i really like your videos and lov what you make. They are so calm, relaxing and inspiring. Really makes me wanna create something. I am so curious about your sewing linial. The one with this wierd shape. Is it at speciel linial?
Hi and thank you so much for the praise:) It is called "pattern max". We all bought it when we were students at fashion school. It was a bit pricey, but I still use it constantly, I love that it is transparent.
This video inspired me to try making something for myself using my own measurements ❤ one quick question, i made a mock up with the pattern i created, and tried the underwear on before adding the elastic, but i found it fits me really big. Is this expected since i haven’t used the elastic and created ruffles? Should i hold off on trying it on and adjusting until i have the elastic sewn in? Should i also go as far as using the gusset lining for the mock up as well?
Hey that's so nice to hear! Yes, it is supposed to be bigger, since the elastic will create the ruffles and sort of "shrink" it. Try it on, once the elastic is sewn in and then adjust if you need some alterations. If you're very new to sewing, maybe try out the gusset on the mockup as well; Just to practice and check whether it's the right length.
15€? I bought it in a clearance section of a local fabric store..., it has a slight fault, though. Usually new silk is expensive. But I'd always recommend to look through ebay.
I have a tutorial for highwaisted briefs ->1.1.3 but if you would want to make this specific type you could draft the pattern by dividing the seat measurement by 3 instead of 5. :)
I always buy 3 matching panties for every bra. But for some reason I always think how fun if the panties are diffrent mondels and atleast one of them are allways uncomfortable ( thong usually) and that is the one that lasts. So then I ens up with good looking bras and uncomfortable but matching underwear
I made this and it's the most comfortable underwear that I have. Thank you!

Lovely! I liked hearing about your inspirations and the all the pretty antique items in each shot!

I want to make these with no machine (I can't deal with the sound). Might try, if i find a nice cotton satin.

how many mommes is the silk fabric?
15€? I bought it in a clearance section of a local fabric store..., it has a slight fault, though. Usually new silk is expensive. But I'd always recommend to look through ebay.
i must try this
my real-silk material was always eaten by my machine. then I put paper under the material and the problem was gone
this video is great~
How would one go about making this high waisted?
I have a tutorial for highwaisted briefs ->1.1.3 but if you would want to make this specific type you could draft the pattern by dividing the seat measurement by 3 instead of 5. :)
