I received it, had a frustrating hour of trying to get the bands on my Scout LT correctly for the first time, then once that was done I aimed clay pellet 10 yards away and was HOOKED. I ordered $100 more worth of gear, more sling shots, bands, etc. I am looking forward to meeting the community of fun loving people who make tournaments out of a simple, caveman sport.

Hey Nathan!! I have been watching Zach Fowlers channel a lil to much and decided to buy a slingshot from you. I first bought the torque and the mastery class and I was shooting ok after about a week but not as good as I felt I should be. So I bought the axiom ocularis and within minutes of setting it up with ttf configuration My shooting was so much better. I am nailing my spinner 70% of the time now thank you so much Nathan!!!
I've been thinking about getting a Axiom for a while and finally got one, it's then been sat in it's packet for a bit and finally today I banded it and shot it....! Iv not long been shooting this spot my accuracy is a bit off maybe! A can will last me a day and with the Axiom Ocularis I have shredded 3 can's in under a hour wow i get it it's amazing to handle and shoot thank you Nathan for such a great thing.
It starts with a good idea and then it's the tinkering that really makes a slingshot frame come into it's own. Slingshot design is really pretty young and it never ceases to amaze me the hundreds of different frame variations there are. For a very simple shooting tool, held in the hand, so neat how little differences can produce real winners.
Just purchased your limited edition green and it will be my very first slingshot. I had to pull the trigger for the limited edition. It looks like it feels good in the hand. I hope this slingshot works for me. I got to say I love the plug system. So versatile for someone who doesn't know what they want.
I ordered mine yesterday! cant wait to try it out. The customization options of this sling is what really caught my eye, already got some ideas for a few.There should be a page dedicated to crazy thought out designs with images attached. there are thousands of different para-cords and other little ideas to implement.
I got mine last week. It is the best slingshot l ever purchased. I did make a few errors with the plugs but it was rectified in seconds and same goes for any fault with the band length. It can be fixed in seconds. Although I did not try it but I am sure it will take a wider band sets. I shot it yesterday and was surprised how well I shoot it. I wish I had purchased it earlier and not wasted my money on the Chines slingshots from the net. Maybe a Hammer LT will be the next purchase in near future.
I just ordered one about an hour ago, I just got a Scout LT it arrived last Sunday and I love it. You’ll have got to get some more back in stock I ordered a black one, and that is my least favorite color, but that is all you all had. Get some orange and red in and I will buy both! I wish I would have thought I would have bought orange plugs for it.
The slingshot won't break, but bands do wear out with use. Bands are a wear item and do not qualify for a return. Do you send back your car tires when they wear out?
I bought a Ocularis from you and I like it. I'm just getting into shooting and want to start making my own bands (flat) but I'm unsure of what to buy? I'm shooting the black that came with it,and the pouch I think is the leather? I also saw you have kangaroo pouches. I'm just wondering what to start experiencing with?
I get the sense that there is a little bad blood between the companies. Different design philosophies. I much prefer Simple Shot- the designs speak to me more and Nathan seems like a more friendly, reasonable guy. Plus SS recognizes that most people just have fun plinking with their slingshots... Bill Hays seems to be under the impression that his frames are tactical killing utensils. He has some neat designs as well but I'm on Team Simple Shot
Daniel..... from some of the reviews that I've read over time.... folks seem to have an "issue" with BH in terms of attitude, especially after he has your money -vs- waiting time for their slingshots, and other dealings with him...... can't verify that personally, as I've never dealt with him... but part of the reason I haven't is because of reviews I've read of peoples experiences. So far, in three years, now... my "go to" for all things, slingshots.... is SimpleShots. Have nearly 20 of them with a countless supply of bands, tubes, pouches, targets, etc, etc, etc. The sligshot "superstore"!! lol

I would love to get a few of those from you, Nathan.... I already have most of the ones you have, but to be honest, I do not like that "split/open" center section.... especially at the "neck" it "looks" to be a potential weak spot. If you had actually copied your's with a full/solid grip, I would be all over it.. and probably order two or three, but unless you can prove that the neck is not compromised in strength at All.... sorry. The one that is actually yours... is as close to what I suggested a couple of years ago.... a "mating" of the Scout with the Ocularis attachment system.... THAT, would be a definite "winner" that I think would sell very well..... and I would be the first in line to order some. PS: What does it "take" (money spent) to make Bronze, Silver or Gold preferred customer status with you folks?.... at last count, I've spent real close to $1,000. with you just since 2015, and apparently, I haven't "made the cut" yet. Lots to go over here: 1. We are 100% confident that the slot does not compromise strength in the least bit or we never would have put it on the market. Actually, this actually allows much more control over the molding process (flow, cooling, etc.) that are much greater areas of compromise than the material removal in the slot ever could be. Does that make sense? Mark Seljan could go into the ins and outs to a level that would blow your mind. :) 2. The VIP levels are determined by an algorithm that runs once a day "looking" for anyone fitting the criteria. There's much more to it than money spent at the site, but one factor that is pretty straight forward is that all VIPs have made a purchase in the last 30 days. I put in very long days, as I'm sure you do as well... Nathan. A forewarning.... if I get long winded here, Please stay with me and read to the end, and my apologies beforehand if this turns into a short "book".... we're not talking with personal interaction, so.. misunderstandings can result from Not saying enough sometimes when using this medium without a personal "knowing", understanding and "history" of and with each other. Myself, for instance.... I have a lot on my "plate"... I am "retired", and just within the last year, I have purchased a new (to us) home and land, with lots of things and upgrades to work on (re; money!), building and setting up a new shop (buying new equipment, supplies, etc), attending Airgun shoot competitions, practicing with the slingshots that I have from you, though Not ALL of them, but a good percentage of them, the unending "honey do" list, and many other responsibilities that responsible people have to take care of between business and family, as I'm sure that you, Nathan... can relate to. Algorithms Notwithstanding... if you were to personally see what your customers are actually doing in regards to their purchasing or dealings in general with SimpleShots, in whatever form that translates to.... a different "picture" would emerge, I'm sure.... rather than whether or not, they showed up for a purchase within the "last 30 days". Because of my situation, and as busy dealing with all that I do in my day to day life as I am... just as you are, between family and your business.... I do Not have time, nor any reason to make a purchase every "within the last 30 days" algorithm of an "impersonal" computer system.... so that I can qualify (to a large extent) to make it into the "VIP levels".... which is about what it "seemingly" translates to... "make a purchase within every 30 days, and your "in the club". To be frank, it "smells like" (meaning, Not saying it is), an agenda behind the "algorithms" in place..... or "forced repeat customers", which may work for many customers who Don't want to be left out, and Do want to be "in the club" so to speak..... most everyone wants to be "in the inner circle"... but for those of us equipped with the two legs God gave us to stand on, and do so (Not in the physical sense)..... we could really care less, "what the crowd is doing". I obviously do Not make purchases within every "last 30 days"period of time..... but when I have, my orders have almost always (about 98+% of the time) been in the triple digits.... in other words, what I may "lack" in frequency, I make up in quantity. In my initial reply... I only questioned what I did about it, because I was pondering (momentarily) what the parameters (algorithms) are, that determine such "status" within SimpleShots VIP levels... I thought that it must not be a money spent issue (as you responded to in the affirmative), because I know for a fact that I have spent nearly $1,000. with you, so far.... and I'm quite sure that Not ALL of your customers can afford to do that much, at least not within such a short period of time as far as actual numbers of purchases are concerned... so I knew there must be some other determining factor(s-?) involved... though you never said what they are. I find "communicating" by email, or by ANY electronic method... a Very Impersonal and misleading way of doing so.... especially when "you" (meaning Anyone) really do Not personally "KNOW" the other person... it is far too easy to misinterpret what the other is trying to convey... there is no way to personally interact with each other, and that can lead to complete and unnecessary misunderstandings of one another. Having said that, I want to be Very clear... that my "concern" with your format in the way of determining "who makes it into your VIP levels" (as far as the "within the last 30 days" algorithm portion).... is NOT, with Yourself, Nathan..... it IS, what amounts to... the computerization of society in general.... it has all but removed personal interaction between people, and has pretty well destroyed the meaning of personal relationships... whether in personal life, and/or... especially in business. My heart really goes out to today's younger generation, because they have truly missed out on what really made this country.... once great. I view computers as a necessary "evil".... which WILL, in the end... be the total undoing and complete enslavement of society in general, mark my words... it IS coming, and in the Not too distant future, to. I bought 2 bags (1,700 count each) in my last order (or the one previous, will have to check my receipts/SS Order forms).... but unfortunately for me... I was away for a couple of weeks and I do Not travel with a computer, didn't get the ad for it until two days after it ended. That was a great price and I would have bought at least four more bags.... 3/8ths is generally what I like to shoot, along with 10 and 11mm... those are my favorite three sizes. What's the biggest ammo you can use in the axiom.
The frame doesn't determine ammo, the bands do. And you can shoot heavy or light bands with the Axiom Ocularis, so just about ANY ammo!

Algorithms Notwithstanding... if you were to personally see what your customers are actually doing in regards to their purchasing or dealings in general with SimpleShots, in whatever form that translates to.... a different "picture" would emerge, I'm sure.... rather than whether or not, they showed up for a purchase within the "last 30 days".
Because of my situation, and as busy dealing with all that I do in my day to day life as I am... just as you are, between family and your business.... I do Not have time, nor any reason to make a purchase every "within the last 30 days" algorithm of an "impersonal" computer system.... so that I can qualify (to a large extent) to make it into the "VIP levels".... which is about what it "seemingly" translates to... "make a purchase within every 30 days, and your "in the club".
To be frank, it "smells like" (meaning, Not saying it is), an agenda behind the "algorithms" in place..... or "forced repeat customers", which may work for many customers who Don't want to be left out, and Do want to be "in the club" so to speak..... most everyone wants to be "in the inner circle"... but for those of us equipped with the two legs God gave us to stand on, and do so (Not in the physical sense)..... we could really care less, "what the crowd is doing".
I obviously do Not make purchases within every "last 30 days"period of time..... but when I have, my orders have almost always (about 98+% of the time) been in the triple digits.... in other words, what I may "lack" in frequency, I make up in quantity.
In my initial reply... I only questioned what I did about it, because I was pondering (momentarily) what the parameters (algorithms) are, that determine such "status" within SimpleShots VIP levels... I thought that it must not be a money spent issue (as you responded to in the affirmative), because I know for a fact that I have spent nearly $1,000. with you, so far.... and I'm quite sure that Not ALL of your customers can afford to do that much, at least not within such a short period of time as far as actual numbers of purchases are concerned... so I knew there must be some other determining factor(s-?) involved... though you never said what they are.
I find "communicating" by email, or by ANY electronic method... a Very Impersonal and misleading way of doing so.... especially when "you" (meaning Anyone) really do Not personally "KNOW" the other person... it is far too easy to misinterpret what the other is trying to convey... there is no way to personally interact with each other, and that can lead to complete and unnecessary misunderstandings of one another.
Having said that, I want to be Very clear... that my "concern" with your format in the way of determining "who makes it into your VIP levels" (as far as the "within the last 30 days" algorithm portion).... is NOT, with Yourself, Nathan..... it IS, what amounts to... the computerization of society in general.... it has all but removed personal interaction between people, and has pretty well destroyed the meaning of personal relationships... whether in personal life, and/or... especially in business.
My heart really goes out to today's younger generation, because they have truly missed out on what really made this country.... once great. I view computers as a necessary "evil".... which WILL, in the end... be the total undoing and complete enslavement of society in general, mark my words... it IS coming, and in the Not too distant future, to.
IF.... whoever is reading this at SimpleShots... is NOT, Nathan.... then I request that you bring HIS attention to this reply and for Him to read this. Thank you again for your previous response, very much appreciated.

I really "missed it" on your recent 3-day (?) sale of the bulk bags of ammo.... I bought 2 bags (1,700 count each) in my last order (or the one previous, will have to check my receipts/SS Order forms).... but unfortunately for me... I was away for a couple of weeks and I do Not travel with a computer, didn't get the ad for it until two days after it ended. That was a great price and I would have bought at least four more bags.... 3/8ths is generally what I like to shoot, along with 10 and 11mm... those are my favorite three sizes.

We agree about technology/computers fundamentally, and yet here we are, right? Commenting on a TH-cam video. We'd never know each other, you'd never know about SimpleShot or be enjoying our products and videos without it!

With the VIP program, it's not perfect, but it's the best we could come up with to actually keep things fair. No one can "do" anything to be a VIP. There's no buddy bonus. There's simply no way for anyone to get in unless the criteria are met. It's the same for everyone.
That's the best way we could come up with to be fair and there are a LOT of customers that have found a gift in their inbox . . .
