Well, they arrived this morning.
My 10 year old grandson has no idea and I'm going to let him do the "unboxing". Lol
We're going to start out with clay until he gets a little experience shooting.

That’s awesome! Yeah, I really dig the Torque as well. Have you tried the Torque X.?
@@canvandal4503 no. The Torque is the only slingshot I've tried since I was young. I'd like to try a few others out. I told my buddy he had to let me try out the Axiom I got him.
Out of the 3 Simple Shot slingshots that I own the Axiom Ocularis is my favorite so far. I ordered the Hammer Master Collection Monday. I’m looking forward to trying it out.

My Ocularus is waiting for me at home. I ordered it after I dug out my ancient Marksman wrist rocket that I never actually ever used, lugged it along on my Northwoods vacation, used it to chase away pesky squirrels, realized, “wow, a slingshot could be better and more fun than my pellet gun if only I could learn more about slingshots” which eventually led me to Simple Shot which today led me to your video via their email. Now to check out your other videos...🙂

The "Sparrow" is getting to be my favorite frame to use. Smooth contours feels fine in the hand.
The Sparrow is another great frame!!!
Perfect example of how everyone has their own favorites. The axiom was the only sling I didn’t care for. No aiming dimps to speak of. I disliked the ball and grommet setup. I like their flip clip slings much better. Glad you enjoyed it! Great review.

I’m glad I’m not the only one that doesn’t like the axiom.I can’t shoot mine to save my life,but I put nice flat bands from simple shot and put them on a 25$ wrist rocket from Amazon that makes me look like a pro 🤷🏼♂️.

I'm loving my new green sparrow,shoots like a dream. But this is the one,I'm thinking of getting next,as I want to give TTF a shot. I love how affordable these slingshots are,cheap really is the wrong word to use for them! 👍
I bought the axiom ocularis in green a couple of months back and have no intention of replacing it with anything other than than the axiom ocularis LE if they ever make it to the UK. Its claimed the lives of hundreds of cans, a glass bottle (satisfying but messy) 2 pigeons and a rat.

Well, I know this might not help but they are both great frames. They both are very unique. I guess it will come down to band attachment. If you do not like to wrap and tuck you might want to grab the Ocularis.

You are right it’s also in my top 3 slingshots. With the Hathcock Target Sniper and the Torque as my other two.

I just got my Ocularis. Nice frame, I haven’t quite got the bands tuned yet. Unfortunately, with exchange rates, shipping fees etc I ended up paying $70.00 Canadian for a $35.00 slingshot so I won’t be buying anything from the USA any more. Is there a good Canadian site for slingshots & accessories?

Shooting rocks can be tricky with any slingshot. It can be done. The Ocularis can be used to shoot rocks. I would advise to shoot it in the OTT configuration.

How come you haven't made a video about the frame I sent you?
SlingshotWarrrior I’m still learning how to shoot it. It’s a bit different than my other frames. As soon as I get better I’ll make a video. Besides I typically don’t review slingshots til I’ve had them a while. I’ve had the axiom Ocularis for about 2 months and am just now reviewing it. 👊

Can I put those black tube loop bands on it? The ones at simple shot and also what is the ideal ammo in your opinion
3/8 or 7/16 or maybe both?
Thanks for the question brother! I recommend using flat bands on the Ocularis. The Torque by SimpleShot, would be my recommendation for using tube bands. As far as 3/8 or 7/16 ammo, either can be used with the proper band set. I have a video that sort of gives my take on ammo size. th-cam.com/video/fEcW0i8ivZQ/w-d-xo.html. Hope this helps!

Thats not true. Its almost impossible to bring the ends of the band in the same position. Super annoying I wouldn’t buy it again.
