Thanks to you I know where I want to stay: in Karen. It’s still 6 months away but I’m pumped up about this trip. If I like it, and I think I will, I’ll return to the U.S. and make plans to return to Kenya as an expat. I am done with these white folks in the States.

Thanks for that bit of information! That's why the airfare is $500 cheaper than in late June, my original date of departure. The trade-off is the price: $839 round trip from San Francisco in April vs. $1,300 in June. I don't want to wait till June, when Kenya will have better weather. Kenyans deal with it, so I'll guess I'll bring a good umbrella and deal with it too. But again, thanks for that heads up; you've given me something to think about.
You will enjoy kenya more in 2024 because that's the year most road infrastructure projects come to complete. You can also try Botswana its a nice place considering you sound an expatriate. Eastafrica will be so big come 2024 .thinking of rwanda,Kigali its 9th safest in the world cleanest In africa ,2nd in way of doing business in africa,its still developing .you have to give it time maybe up to 2030 in order to be like norway or sweeden.that's a glimpse hope it helps you.for your host tour guide I recommend bonfire adventures kenya or tamasha africa tours&travels
The customer care people are so incompetent ,you call them to schedule a meeting to see the homes and nobody turns up , before sending directions takes a week just complete disappointment .
The Ololua home architect impression is not the same as the actual house. Totally different. The plan had a huge portion of glass while the actual house has walls
