Can we all just go back and look where Kyle walker was when the free kick is taken. He is back in line with the rest of the back four. It’s his fault he’s not wide and close enough to martinelli, he had more than enough time to get back into position than I think most people realise.

Hold on, you want Arsenal when down to 10 men to play attacking football, away from home, against City? How did that work for Liverpool a few seasons ago? If you wanted a good attacking game, like fans did have for parts of the game in the first half, then the application of the rules need to be consistent for all teams or common sense applied. Michael Oliver refused to send off a City player last season because he didn't want to impact the game. However, on this occasion, that wasn't considered - crickets from you on this. What about this silly rule about delaying restarts, is this not what extra time is for? What about Doku doing the same? Szoboszlai for Liverpool whilst already on a yellow? Plenty of other examples available upon request. This is what Arsenal fans are moaning about, no one is saying Trossard is innocent, he's not. It's the inconsistencies.
Lastly it's not Arsenals prerogative to play attractive football, given the context already outlined. Moreover, where is the talk about the greatest team on the planet unable to break down such a defence? 33 shots, over 70% possession and just about got a draw. Side to side passing, long distance shots, slow movement. Surely you'd expect more from City here - I know I did.

I mean its entirely possible to play attacking away from home down to 10 Chelsea did it against the best side ever in barca and they were 2-0 down. However i agree Arsenal had to play 10 behind the ball because they were winning so no point chasing the game and losing. Im a neutral in all of this an i do find Arsenal awful to watch at the best of time ill be honest against Atalanta they were dreadful to watch but you have to do what you have to do to get a result. In terms of delaying the restart i think by law its a second yellow an understand it same as rice an should have learned from it the issue is they enforce 1 in every 20 commited.

@@IamTiernO - Then they need to call out the rules that spoilt the game due to it's lack of consistence in the application, they've got more clout that we mere mortals do as they're ex players with a wider reach. Last season we were bemoaning VAR remember, not much chatter there, it's been replaced by this mental rule. This rule is like double jeopardy, a team/player gets punished twice. Book a player for delay, but add further extra time. The punishment has already been served with the yellow, why not book ALL players that delay but have no/limited extra time - for subs add an extra 30seconds per sub perhaps.

Shame MG isnt on to argue the other side of the Trossard red card. No mention of the City players not being booked for kicking the ball (which is the main frustration for Arsenal), and most crucially the ball is kicked within a second of the whistle going. Reminds me of the Van Persie red card years back against Barca.
Also, do we actually want this to be a second yellow? Others have suggested that 30 seconds or a minute is added on each time a ball is kicked, rather than a yellow, and that seems much more fair to me. The last thing we want is more matches with 10v11 or 10v9.

Stop messing about by focusing on booking a player for kicking a ball after the whistle and start demanding that referees make better decisions and actually use VAR to correct the ones they get wrong instead of just backing each other up.

@@6t7ghost If I were a City fan, I would be celebrating - Last minute goals = scenes regardless of who/what/when. What I find laughable is how people wax lyrical about City, yet they struggled to perform. 33 shots, over 70% possession and 1 goal in the dying minutes. I'm sorry, but that is pitiful.

So I wanna know a few weeks ago you said Raya was not an acrobatic keeper how do you feel now after he just ruined your assessment of him ? Madness not everyone should have an opinion because usually it's biased and wrong. You where a bad keeper so the fact you feel you can even comment on the ability of a keeper is hilarious to me

Ben and the gang have had some pretty knobhead opinions last couple weeks. Starting by saying Raya is not a good goalkeeper because he doesn't look the same way like some of you "normal keepers" do (being massive both in height and size). After saying that he has made some of the best saves in the PL for years and been dominant both between the bars and in the box catching crosses and whatnot. You guys comes across as not being up to date with the game in the way you have talked down Raya.
