Oh my gosh, yes! I get that all the time. Dudes l have never even met say, "Hey, why don't you smile?" I typically reply, "Because you don't make me happy."

Honestly, I think treating the guy you’re getting to know like he’s dating 5 other women is the best approach! you’re not as invested + prone to fantasizing, and you’re not going to miss out on other opportunities that could come your way while you’re in that early stage. It’s a natural and authentic way of remaining sorta aloof AND occupied elsewhere, which really only makes you more appealing in the long run

I use the line "I am fine" only, because I do not want him to bother with my emotions right than. No other lines, never.
I've never asked a guy any of these questions, because I am secure within myself...but deciding where to eat is another story!!!

There should be wise sensitivity traning for men to take in regards to womens cycle and on improving healthy respectful relationships with women, I know when a guy asks that that they arent very good at respecting women and suck at healthy communication....its a complete turn off! and invalidates a womans feelings

I disagree...the moment you disrespect him. There's no coming back from that. It's equivalent to cheating.
*"How many women have you been with"* and *"Are you seeing other women"* DEFINITELY do not belong on this list. The other inane comments women say, I agree with.
How a person looks at sex and how casual they view it, speaks volumes about who they are when it comes to commitment. A 30 year old man that has had over 100 sex partners, is not someone that would be high up on the list for a stable life partner.
Additionally, if you want to know whether you are in a committed relationship, the best way is to ask if you are exclusive. Any man that can't handle such a direct and valid question is a man/child or player.

...I mean, I think the question of how committed he is is a valid one, but maybe "how many women have you been with?" is the wrong way to ask. Maybe he slept around a lot when he was younger, but stopped when he was older. Especially when it has to do with hormonal development, people do change like that.
Kind of the same with "are you seeing other women?" It is probably better to say where you're at, then ask him where he is.
These are the same kinds of considerations I want from guys, btw; it's not always the woman asking these questions.

I agree, and I would definetly try my hardest not to go there with anyone I felt had the potential to be a real match. But sometimes you just get a gut feeling about someone and you just have to ask. I was recently texting (and Skyping) with a man I met online, and he kept mentioning all of these female friends, like constantly; "I took my friend to get her stuff in a nearby town" (like an hour drive away), "I went to my friend's house to fix her AC", "my friend came over and we watched a movie".....I knew it's not 'cool' but I just had to ask if he was dating any of these women. Got the "no, we're just friends" typical response, but he has an awful lot of female friends (that he seemed to be spending lots of time with) by his admission. So I did ask him if he was sleeping with any of these friends. Sure enough, he was. Said when he went over to fix the one friend's AC, "sometimes stuff happens." This is all recent, so it seems he is a %uckboy. So it can be a good tool to rule out the ones you're on the fence about. Just use caution that it's not just you being insecure. You'd be surprised how much people will just come right out and tell you.
@@Hakajin I disagree. There is no reason for a woman to go through the verbal and mental gymnastics that you are suggesting. Just as some women need to stop expecting men to tip toe around how they communicate for fear of being offensive; the same can be said about men.
There are a LOT of men that routinely gaslight women. They know they are players, but don't like when a strong women calls him out on it. Men love sleeping around but don't like being labeled as male hoes. Let's call it for what it is.
In other words, when guys are confronted about serious stuff in a relationship before they even get to it on their own, they tend to get spooked. Explains a lot of their responses when they're dating strong straightforward women who have no time to waste on breadcrumbs and playing mind games.

These are all the same things that completely turn me off too - and I'm a female. They are typical comments made by people who are: emotionally insecure; controlling; narcissists; emotionally and/or psychologically-impoverished, OR just plain exceedingly shallow people.

The one that kind of bugs me is "I'm free whenever." It's not that I don't have anything else going on, but aside from work (which, I get off around 2), my schedule's just really flexible. I do have responsibilities and a lot of things I enjoy, but there are no specific time commitments there. It's just a matter of fact that he's got more constraints, so it makes more sense to plan around his schedule. ...I will say, though, that it helps that the guy in question knows this.

I have had issues with guys who don’t believe I’m fine. When really I was just fine and not mad about a single thing. They were just way too insecure, constantly asking me if I’m ok and what’s wrong just because I was quiet. Or asking me what’s on my mind? When seriously I was fine and didn’t have anything on my mind. They were the one causing the problem with their insecurity.

So, I made the decision to cancel my other date at that time. He was like: “Another guy?” And then he said, “No, I haven't seen anybody after our first date, I had plenty of opportunities but they were just not like you.” But still, I don't know if we are or not exclusives. 🤔🤔🙃
Hi Maria😆, I just read this and it made me think about an ex of mines....He didn't want me sleeping with/seeing other men while me and him were "dating" even though unbeknownst to myself he was seeing/entertaining/sleeping with other women. The point is:Do you sis, you are SINGLE until you BOTH come to the conclusion that you are exclusive. These men will have you putting your love life on hold and have zero intentions of locking you down meanwhile they're pining after the female that makes them jump through hoops! Oh I had a second date with one who told me his x wife was hot, and no matter what he would always love her. The whole date was a counciling session on his breakup! Then when I went to give him a friendly kiss goodbye, he actually pulled his face away. He texted me the next day to see how I was going and I never bothered to reply.
Girl, same. Lasted about a year and at that point I had my fill of hearing about his ex wife every single day.

I love your videos! I normally completely get the other ones. I, myself, function quite a bit like my guy friends as far as relationships. Yet, I am also quite straight to the point. I hold a certain amount of maturity in my conversations. **What is frustrating, is that I feel that the way "most guys" may handle these questions is in a Very Immature and assumptive way. In Many ways, we want the same base things in a relationship. To assume and react to a question of, "Are you seeing other people?" As an ultimatum or threatening type question is simply Immature. A Mature woman asking this question is simply gaging where she stands, if she should invest more or less energy into this at the time as well as, if she should risk the higher possibility of stds or finding out later he's got a kid on the way. By honestly answering, with a simple yes or no.
Asking the question of, "Where do you see this going?" Also, is about the same thing. Guys complicate some rather simple questions. Guys ALSO want to know where they stand in a relationship of ANY KIND. Yet, the difference is... They don't typically have to ask. If Woman didn't let you guys know, you ask. If a man, asks this type of question. Woman will answer it without the Immature thought process of, "I don't need to explain myself, blah blah blah."
Especially, because We Know you guys will say some things that are not completely honest on where you're at just to keep us as an option until you figure it out. 🤷♀️ Just be straight. Get a grip on what you are or not feeling and Say so.
I understand that I don't function as most do but I also think we need to raise the Expectation for a more Mature thought process for Men.
** Maturity being emotional control, responsibility, accountability etc. Not Age. Boys/Men & Girls/Women
