We don't use short shovels in brush. We also don't put our hands under logs... its a great way to get bit by a snake. They love those places. Especially people with short shovels..

@@pauldistefano9517 seen plenty. Theres not one on this though. I've seen roofing shingles too, there not here either. Hence you get wet when it rains or its a incomplete shelter.

Do you carry a tarp everywhere you go? Well yeah actually. Several in the trunk with paracord tie offs already attached. And a cheap tent. Matter of fact I bought an LC2 alice just for a go bag I leave in the trunk. Why wouldnt you?

That's a bad idea considering snakes in the area looking for a new home will be automatically attracted to getting under the logs. It looks like a natural home to them from the outsides.🤣🐍

I don't know as you were raking up those leaves I was kind of thinking the ground is going to be cold without any dry leaves hope you get some new ones and then comes the mat right on the ground and I'm like man at night that ground gets cold even in the summer
