can i beat stronger and taller opponents with these fighting techniques ? ( oh and by the way , i enjoy yor vids, and the training is fun and disciplinates you )and dont forget to keep up the good work ;)
Amazing video once again, guys. Thank you for adding footwork on to this drill. You just gave me another one to practice with my little girl. She absolutely loves Kali.
Great drill involving the combined footwork along with the heaven-six. I saw what looked like the addition of a redondo strike as part of the sequence at the beginning of this video. Can you demonstrate the addition of redondo striking in another video if you haven't already in another video? I see it as a way to generate additional speed and power to a strike as well as a change in direction of a strike different from the straight-forward strikes expected from the heaven-six pattern that you demonstrate here. Thanks!!!
Love this video! How you show the sticks (35-37 seconds in) with the descriptions is very helpful! This might sound silly to someone who has done this stuff for years but as a 50 year old with NO background and very limited (getting better!) coordination the extreme basics are very helpful. Case in point - took me FOREVER to figure out some simple siniwali moves watching and re-watching videos. My problem? you count 1, 2, etc for the strikes but my brain couldn't sort out you moving the sticks on the off-counts. Does that make sense? IE: at 35 seconds in you do a "fluid" angle 1 which to me looks like just the downward strike... when trying to figure out what comes next with the other hand, then the first hand comes back with an angle 2 (for instance) - I was left with a "how did the first hand end up somewhere else?" kind of frustration. Had I started with THIS video *everything* would have made a lot more sense from the start. So from this old newbie - THANKS! :)
hello, i found some old sticks and i cut them a bit so now they are pretty good to use for kali/escrima. i was just thinking what i could practice my strikes on, since i dont have money for punching bags or bob dummies.
Wow just wow thanks gonna be fun incorporating the footwork stupid question can the male triangle be included aswell? your channel is a great addition to my training love it
sir I would like moving footwork changing combo striking video like in this video heaven six plus any other two combos so I become much less predictable.
Oh man I did this drill for an hour straight (took me that long to get it right) but I wore some blisters in both palms. Gotta warn people they might need gloves. Who thought bamboo would do that? Live and learn.
This is probably one of the best video👍🏽I watch this on repeat👍🏽

You are a good teacher.

His movement is amazing! Heaven is one of my favourite stick drills to do in class :)

If you can get them I find old car tires to be perfect! Vertically one on top of the other, tied in the middle!
wow nice man

Thanks for watching! Yes, this can be applied to all other footwork methods. Just need to find the proper timing/rhythm.

Just gotta keep training to build calluses on your hands.
