Trains at: Tring, WCML, 10/11/15

A very good session spent at Tring on the West Coast Mainline where we see plenty of services from Virgin Trains, London Midland, Southern and a couple of freight services hauled by Freightliner class 66 locomotives.
Tring is a fantastic station to come to anytime during the year, depending as to where you stand on the station you can get some excellent vantage points.

Basically I was on my way back from New Street on a 350 and we got stopped at Northampton for like 1/2 hour without knowing what was up, then we creeped into Tring, where it was announced that some dick jumped in front of a train. So we were stranded at the station from 7pm-2:30am, London Midland told us to get off the train and they all fucked off back to Northampton, thank god that the virgin pendolino was there at Tring all that time and they let us on the train back to Euston, even though TFL had "apparently" arranged transport for us, which they clearly never did. That's why I don't like that station.

I think for a better variety you should try the WCML around noon ish. The amount of freight workings spikes between then and 16:00.
