So happy to find this, I was at this gig. It was my first time ever in NYC with my family from Ireland. Being able to enjoy the music I love, live with them was such a treat. It was like being able to see the music live with such great musicians helped them "get it" and understand why I love it so much. I will never forget this night guys, thank you so much. I got to talk to Ari afterwards and he was the nicest guy and was kind enough to take the time to chat. It was truly magic and it was the last live music I saw for nearly 2 years. Very happy to be able to see it again. Cheers!

A lesson in dynamics for sure. If only my little town had a music scene this robust!

The 55 Bar is a wonderful, intimate venue where people really listen to the music. I spent many happy nights there when I was living in NYC in the 80s and 90s.

Maaaan...Dynamics, high -level interaction/listening...Ari is like...an improvising arranger...Yotam and Yasushi sound excellent...What a wonderful trio! Thanks for sharing!👍🏽😁 ETA Love the " If I only had a brain " quote( wizard of oz ) in the bass solo...Great drum solo, too...And really tasteful, strategic employment of effects on the guitar...Hope this trio records something if it hasn't already!

Ah!!! I also remember playing the melody to Oleo on toms - at full speed - for my first college show :) I was quite proud... wonder if I could pull it off from the top of my head...!

Check Out Ari’s brush technique, even the ways he holds the brushes, using the extended index fingers to help. Every good drummer plays them different... it’s a personal thing, and it still works. Fascinating. Great band! Gratitude!

Very nice and subtle interpretation. The venue seems beautiful; I notice here that Ari plays a Sonor Vintage in a configuration most unusual for such small club. Was this the house kit? If so, it must be a treat to play at 55 Bar!

You guys should NOT be promoting Oleo as butter is simply better for you....health wise and taste wise. Man this is good!
