    I finalized the construction but nothing works... it seems the batteries give power to the board but this power goes nowhere after. Can someone also help me with the resistors? Mine have different colors and I don't really know how they work. Thanks!

      I struggled with that too, i looked on google for the color codes and looked at the board to see what goes where

      Just use a DMM (Digital Multi-meter), set it to the Ohms function and measure the resistance of each resistor.

    Not a bad little project build at all. There were only two things I didn't much care for! One of which was the lack of directions in chinese, and the other was that the two motors and housings are connected to the board using double sided tape, which made for a sloppy connection with a lot of play/wiggling.

    I did all that but the ldr sensing is really awful. I just ripped out the LDRs and going to add IR obstacle sensor modules instead. Going to try and drive the PNP transistors directly from them, without the LM393..

    Cool robot. I ordered one of these and its coming soon, just thought I'd see how it worked. I am a bit concerned as I got a cheap soldering iron and the entire metal tube thing connecting too handle is wobbly, the heating module is all the way at tip do you think I could add superglue between the handle and the metal piece?

      Funny, I think I made the same two purchases as you. A washer or two on the soldering iron stand should help.

      i just saw a notification that you replied lol. its been awhile since I've posted this comment and the first thing i must say, both things i purchased were what was expected. im nt usually that kind of person to just say that stuff is bad and i think that the stuff was "OK" but the soldering iron cought its self on fire practically
      (heating module is fried) and the robot was not bad but the motors we're attached with tape which is not an ideal connection lol.

      just use a multimeter to check the resistors.....will be easy to fix if you want to.

    Hi, I have a classroom of 30 kids, and also 30 of these kits. However, all of the ones we have tried so far have failed. The photo resistors don't seem to be positioned correctly, and therefore the car cannot follow the line. Will you please help me? This is kind of urgent. Thank you!!!

      To build this properly for the first time, you will need written instructions; I found them on the Internet 2 pages in length. I had one kit, and four of the resistors were the wrong value; it would never have worked! With the correct resistors in place, the little car worked perfectly the first time.

    Mine is not working properly I did all correct adjustments but my only one tyre is moving and none of the LEDs are glowing help plz

      I know that you mean. The sensor is based on LDRs..it going to be so prone to noise and ambient light saturation. So it's going to be hit and miss..

      Z Azhar LEDs have polarity. Respect the plus and ground , otherwise it electric signal is blocked. The D in LED is for Diod..
