swapped out a straight 6 for a 302 in my xf ute, of all things, the heater inlet/outlet pipes were in the way. with my dads welding abilities, and a bit of ingenuity, we relocated them and made the bastard fit. .. reason i shared that is because , as much as i am not as skilled as you are, the way you look at issues is a lot like i do, if there is a will, there is a way . It's the lessons along the way we learn from I guess mate. I do try to think more of what I can do to solve a problem rather then get stuck on the problem itself.
Mines an 87 GXL and has got similar features like the sunroof, ps, and ac so that could be the trim, though I’m from the States so it could be different
