Wasnt Butchers fault, it 100% went wrong because of Mallory. Butcher giving Ryan the option to leave or stay solely depending on how he feels showed that he trusted Ryan enough to make the right decision as long as he was actually allowed to choose his fate for himself. Ryan cant trust somebody that doesnt trust him, thats why he was so apprehensive when he realized what Mallory was implying. Dumping years of trauma onto a kid with superpowers then telling him he HAS to kill his dad in the span of 2 minutes would obviously evoke an emotional reaction. Ryan is a kid who has honestly been through alot, so it was obvious to Butcher that the best way to engage with Ryan was by showing mutual trust and forming a real bond through common interests. Butcher was actually being a real father in these moments despite the added motives. He was trying to guide Ryan slowly into forming his own opinion based on what he knows is right or wrong, thats why he was so proud when Ryan spoke up on the live broadcast with the puppets. He knew the lessons him and Becca instilled in Ryan were sinking in and he was realizing the reality of the situation. Trying to tell him you're going to gas him and lock him in a cage until he can kill his dad would obviously make him feel scared, betrayed, panicked, etc. Mallory really just ruined The Boys greatest potential asset smh.

how was butcher to blame? he was being very empathetic with ryan, mallory brought about her own death, she made ryan feel like a weapon when she started spouting about the "training to kill your father" stuff
I’m surprised and confused that y’all were so quick to blame Butcher. He was actually handling the situation wonderfully, Grace got desperate and escalated it
This episode is prime reactions from Spidey, I reacted the same as him throughout the episode. "She hung her like a coat" and he was just laughing all episode
Not them talking over Kimiko talking for the first time, and totally not billys fault with Ryan, he was handling it slowly but surely and grace fucked it up
That's a...weird take blaming Butcher when he was asking Mallory to stop. How can he be blamed for the actions of Grace Mallory? Did he make her push the button or withhold Ryan? How is it that he's guilty by association? Or is it just because it's Butcher?
Butcher tried his best to fight against his worse self. He did say he wanted him to go with Grace to be protected and thas what his mom wanted, but when Ryan said he wanted to go back to the tower Butcher literally said if you feel safest with Homelander thas where i want you to go... and Ryan stayed to play the game with Mallory looking at Butcher like wyd... and then the whole time she was talking he was saying chill and as Ryan was saying get out of my way Butcher was yelling in his weak voice "Grace!!" She thought what she wanted was more important than what Ryan wanted, i have loved Ryan's character this season. Being his own man, saying how he feels and calling out all the hypocritical bs and lame sh&t he sees... She literally threatened to keep him hostage and he can see thru the wall, she thought she was sneaking her hand to the button??!! Time is literally slowed down in xray for Ryan... when he said he'll be back she should had let him go. It was working. But at this point Butcher knows he's gonna die and he cant trust Ryan to not be Homelander 2.0 in the time he has left to do something about it so... burn it all... the writing is just elite, the shock value... the acting was great this episode. One of the best Boys episodes
How was Neuman the only hope we had left? Are you delusional? I honestly don’t think you guys have been paying attention. She was a villain. She was not going to help or be on our side, she just had no way out and wanted a deal that would benefit her, not us. Also, Butcher is the only one that actually cares about Ryan. How can you watch this episode and see anything else? Really strange 😂 Everything Butcher has done in this season was necessary and made full sense. They have the virus because of Butcher, meaning they now have the only way to take him out. There is a bit of good inside of Ryan, because of Butcher. Neuman was a high level threat that killed multiple innocent people. All it would take is Homelander to kidnap her daughter for her to be his weapon again. She had to be taken out. No deals. Atleast he didn’t kill her kid. Sometimes I honestly wonder if you guys can follow a simple story ffs.
Okay i need a press conference from the normies present on the couch today , in which they need to address the issue and apologize to butcher . Mallory was the one to be blamed he was easing him into yhe situation but mallory rushed the kid and stopped him from leaving.😅
I think phase two that Sage was talking about is Butcher. She'd already corrupted Homelander (I know he was already corrupted, but she made sure to destroy the last sane braincell in his mind) now it's Butcher's turn, she's going to make them fight each other and create the biggest war between Superheroes, just like in the comics. Imagine Butcher with his new found abilities, Homelander, Soldier Boy and the rest of the superheroes fighting each other, each one of them fighting for personal gains and not for the people. it'll be Diabolical.
Y’all are welcome to y’all opinion but I’m sorry, IN NO WAY DID BUTCHER INVOLVE HIMSELF INTO REASON OF RYAN CRASHING OUT😭 butcher was the voice of reason advocating for Ryan to have that choice of what he sees as right and what’s best for him, where Grace’s trauma from the supe shit that it enabled her to be forceful and dump so many bombs on literally everything in one sitting. Not saying she didn’t have a right under the circumstances but also knowing the connection she made with Ryan as much as Butcher, she would sympathize and be patient with him😭
Genuinely how is that Billy’s fault? He wasn’t forcing Ryan to choose. He told him if he wanted to choose to be with Homelander that he wouldn’t stop him. Am I missing something? Grace is the one who was pressing Ryan and forcing him to chose a path
Remembers normies, Mal was keeping him safe and normal, then she starts hating butcher because he let's homelander take him from her care- which then brings the weapon plan in full swing
After this I'm really starting to think either the writers hate Hughie or really hate Jack Quaid. Not only does he get sexually assaulted once and it's played for laughs but then he's basically raped/sexually assaulted 20 times, which is also kind of played as a joke, and the show kinda blames him for it.
It’s straight up Grace fault or at least 90% her fault, she straight up told him 4 huge bombshells to him about his father and his entire existence. That was not butcher
i think butcher did nothing wrong in that scene with ryan, it was uncharacteristically, butcher who acted with patience and understanding, whereas mallory let herself be overcome with an uncharacteristic impatience and desperation
They did Show a quick scene of butcher looking into the rearview mirror, and we can see Jeffery dean character in the reflection. Showing he took over.
How was any of that butchers fault?. he was handling the situation in a very calm manner and even gave Ryan where he could go back to Homelander or stay with him. Grace was the one dumping heavy information on him and making him feel like a caged lab subject. So what happened to Grace is Grace’s fault not butchers at all.
Butcher was not at fault here Mallory screwed it up he was easing into telling Ryan the truth Mallory just needed to shut up and let the kid think Butcher would've let the kid go Mallory messed up Butcher's only good choice so he was forced to make a Bargain with the Supe Cancer aka Negan to take out Homelander instead of Ryan Butcher was very against the idea he wouldn't force the kid to do it because of his promise to his wife I'm seeing a similarity from the comic on what Butcher is gonna do at the end of the series but we never know because its different from comic in general

@Thenormies idk how you guys came to the conclusion that Butcher messed things up with Ryan. His approach worked until Mallory fucked it up. You guys have to be sane.😂
"Billy you did this" When a minute earlier he was telling her to wait💀
Classic Normies, making the assumptions thinking its Billy's fault. Lol
I think they’ll be ok
They definitely set up a dark vibe for the final season with that Nirvana song
I predict that Starlight is gonna try and find A-Train, also Sam and Cate’s aura is crazy , Sam really no diffed kimiko and restrained her like a toddler
I wonder what Ashley's powers are gonna be. Wouldn't be surprised if she got Green Lantern's powers and ended up giving Sam hell or throwing a rhinoceros construct at him
Well Kimiko is The Boys version of Deadpool and Sam is the show version of the Hulk. Kimiko has the normal super strenght that all supers posses but Sam has to be the phsically strongest super in the show after Soldier Boy,Homelander and Ryan.
@@PlanetCookie3 well when she was mutating it looked kinda targeted at her head so it might be some MEGAMIND type of shit for all we know lol
@@Catarssis347 that’s overestimating Sam. He has the same strength level as Blockbuster or Thing from Marvel. If a Supe with Harry Leland’s powers came along and increased Sam’s mass by 100,000lbs, not only will he pinned to the floor but he’ll sink underneath it. Especially to Homelander.
Now if we get a Supe with Sebastian Shaw’s powers, oh man…. I doubt Homelander alone would stop him. He’ll need Soldier Boy’s, Butcher’s, Sam’s, and A-Train’s help to overload him
@@kaithesamurai5943 those are spasms and side effects of the drug. Doesn’t necessarily mean that her head will have some head powers. She could end up having Emma Frost’s telepathy and diamond skin or Dracula’s vampire powers
The original title for this episode was 'Assassination Run', by the way.
HOW WAS THIS BUTCHERS FAULT?????!!!!!????
So the kid murders someone and yall blame the person who got killed. He has killed two ppl and you just ignore it
Need a public apology for the butcher blaming
When annie arrived at the bunker i was like how'd she get there so fast
😂 exactly.
Script magic
Yeah, if her powers weren't working, then she couldn't have flown there. Also, if she's been prisoner for 10 days, how did she even know where the bunker was located?

12:25 “swing on her” I think Chris forgot that Shapeshifter is a Supe and Hughie is human 💀
The one good thing I can point out of this episode is that is that at least A train is still alive when everyone keep saying he gonna die this season
Yeah one of the worst things about this season is how Hughie was treated. Dude got r*ped multiple times and it's all for laughs. Not treating it with any seriousness was such a dumb writing decision. The writing for Hughie this season was just horrible all around.
In fairness he got his feet tickled and had to sit on a cake not half as bad as Starlight in season 1
@@paulosullivan3205it’s not about comparing.
He got SA’d twice and the show gave him one moment to cry and say it’s not ok.
Not exactly taking the subject matter seriously but it was a dude so it’s played for laughs.
This wasn’t butchers fault at all. Butcher was coming at this from a place of kindness. Now he’s trying to clean up everyone’s messes. Hughie’s, Mallory’s, Annie’s , and everyone’s at this point
Grace shouldn't have dumped all that on Ryan, she didnt listen to Butcher and just riled ryan up. This is Grace's fault.
He also did double down by saying that Ryan's gotta kill his father and that he'd train him
Next Season, we’re gonna have to look to A-train, Butcher, and Starlight
Wild Cards: Ashley, Ryan and Gen V characters
Other:stan edgar
Also the gen v kids will wanna help the boys
Soldier boy is another wild card
the girl cosplaying starlight would have fucking nailed it if she was cosplaying neuman instead 😭
Bro, the Shifter had Annie's BRAIN 🧠. She could read minds, could probably read Hughie's mind! Said stuff only they knew. You can't blame him much for that!
Them instantly blaming Billy proves how inept they are seeing whats literally right in front of them. "Normies" couldn't be more spot on to describe this couch full of simple minded people.
This is why I prefer Blind Wave.
@@TheeKorovaMilkBar lol I just checked. I don't want to watch people sitting on tables with paper notebooks as if it was an exam or office work. I watch shows in leisure time. it is kinda weird. Personally I also want to have both genders in the reaction shows because man oftentimes have a similar kind of reaction, you can see that a lot where when both gender are in the show things gets more variety
Jesus, calm down it's just a TV show lol
I love and hate this season for a lot of reasons, but Kimiko finally speaking will forever break my heart
This finale was peak for the boys, homelander finally snapped and is calling the shots, shapeshifter is dead,ASHLEY TOOK COMPOUND V,noir and the deep duo, ryan killing grace, evil butcher finally in control AND KILLED NEUMAN,sister sage is back, sam and katie jump kimiko then SHE FINALLY TALKED and frenchie GETS KIDNAPPED,love sauasage whacking mm with his you know what,Cindy the bald psychic/telekinesis girl from season 1is back,That part where starlight activates her powers and flys off into the sky near the end was sooo badass,THEN SOILDER BOY AT THE END,This was perfect writing what a way to end a season,I knew A-train would survive but noone believed me,WHAT A SEASON FINALE STRAIGHT 🔥🔥FR 😂😂👏🏾.
Yes! Absolutely epic! Evil Butcher! So glad someone caught that
how was butcher to blame? he was being very empathetic with ryan, mallory brought about her own death, she made ryan feel like a weapon when she started spouting about the "training to kill your father" stuff
The fact that starlight isn’t more considerate of the fact that he got raped is fucking pissing me off
I’m surprised and confused that y’all were so quick to blame Butcher. He was actually handling the situation wonderfully, Grace got desperate and escalated it
LET'S GO A-TRAIN
This episode is prime reactions from Spidey, I reacted the same as him throughout the episode. "She hung her like a coat" and he was just laughing all episode
Wonder if Sage is actually working with Maev. Looked like her notepad had her sticker on it.
Amazing. Mallory was the one who was escalating the whole situation, yet you guys put all the blame on Butcher lol
Nice cosplay, but is that the real Navilight or the shifter?
Real
Butcher stood on business no Deals 😂
Still trying to understand how is grace getting killed Butcher's fault?
I believe it's bc if Butcher went along with the first plan; the tumor/his dark side's plan this wouldn't have happened.
Is Navi wearing the exact same Starlight outfit that Rana wore in the season 3 finale?
Probably; I mean, they're both the skinniest ones on the channel
Why does the girl in the middle look like Victoria Neuman LOL
You all saying Billy did that but that was on Mallory. Butcher was trying to ease hime into it and tell it to him in a better way.
Butcher was saying NO he did not want Grace to drop all those truth bombs on Ryan!!!
Not them talking over Kimiko talking for the first time, and totally not billys fault with Ryan, he was handling it slowly but surely and grace fucked it up
That title is very misleading, this ep isn't even in the top 10 most brutal eps.
20:00 what?? Y'all are fucking joking right? Hilarity 😂 Butcher tried easing him into it
That's a...weird take blaming Butcher when he was asking Mallory to stop.
I was shocked to see butcher's powers and Kimiko is talking.
I like how in every single reaction to this episode everyone completely overlooks kamikos ability to talk lol
They acknowledged it 🤷🏼♂️
why tf u guys hating and blaming butcher ? that was perfect
Yall are blaming Grace’s fuck up on Butcher? Insane
Hopefully Starlight finds A-Train and Maeve to form a team to save The Boys.
Really strange 😂
Everything Butcher has done in this season was necessary and made full sense.
A couch of five people and they all share a single braincell that isnt even there lmao 😂😂 dam Normies blaming the wrong person
Okay i need a press conference from the normies present on the couch today , in which they need to address the issue and apologize to butcher . Mallory was the one to be blamed he was easing him into yhe situation but mallory rushed the kid and stopped him from leaving.😅
30:35 I thought Hughie was saying “less than 20” as a joking way of saying multiple times but I didn’t keep count.
I think phase two that Sage was talking about is Butcher.
She'd already corrupted Homelander (I know he was already corrupted, but she made sure to destroy the last sane braincell in his mind)
now it's Butcher's turn, she's going to make them fight each other and create the biggest war between Superheroes, just like in the comics.
28:49 but Annie knew that
the shifter bragged about it when they talked
Normies being Normies with that blame on Butcher
It’s straight up Grace fault or at least 90% her fault, she straight up told him 4 huge bombshells to him about his father and his entire existence. That was not butcher
Poor Hughie. The dude has been sexually abused and raped but then gets blamed for it.
how did they have like almost zero reaction to kimiko talking ? , that was one of the most long anticipated aand heartbreaking scenes seen ever !
The fuck are the guys blaming Billy for? He's not the one rushing a bunch of information to Ryan all at once.
Lmao that zoom in to Suraj tummy noise was a good chuckle 😂
i think butcher did nothing wrong in that scene with ryan, it was uncharacteristically, butcher who acted with patience and understanding, whereas mallory let herself be overcome with an uncharacteristic impatience and desperation
They did Show a quick scene of butcher looking into the rearview mirror, and we can see Jeffery dean character in the reflection. Showing he took over.
"butcher you did this" Oh shut up, no he didn't
How was any of that butchers fault?. he was handling the situation in a very calm manner and even gave Ryan where he could go back to Homelander or stay with him. Grace was the one dumping heavy information on him and making him feel like a caged lab subject. So what happened to Grace is Grace’s fault not butchers at all.
21:06 "He's not Butcher anymore.......he's NEGAN."
Did anyone catch the subtle Avengers assemble music when the camera panned over to Soldier Boy?
Billie did this? Last time I checked he was screaming at grace to stop while her goofy self went diving for the big red button like the ccp
We were all so worried about A-Train getting it this season, not one of us called Neumann dying.
Neuman was never to be trusted tbh, butcher did the right thing. People forgetting all the heinous stuff she did in season 2 lol
