Great awesome video, great combine 7 mph that’s impressive, love that choppin corn head , Brian brown farming ordered one I heard , can’t wait to see there’s
Thank you for the nice words. The guy who demoed this one actually just bought one as well. Should with any luck have more videos of that one this fall.
Martin Richenhagen did a lot of good things for AGCO but if it were not for the late Kevin Bien's determination and hard work, MR would have killed off Gleaner.
They seem to be doing good. This guy ended up buying one after the demo. The maintenance is great and compared to working on yellow ones these are way nicer. Of course they are not perfect but have been holding up nicely.
@@wsorfan no combine is perfect. We had 3 915 IH combined when I was a kid. Never had much problems with them, but some hated them. Traded for 3 1480’s and loved them. Later 1680’s, then 2188’s, now a couple of 7120’s. Funny, they don’t even make a CaseIH as small as the big combines we used to run!
Rusty, did this combine have the perforated cascade pan? I believe they brought that combine to our place on Nov 3. Not a fan of the cascade pan for our lower yielding corn in Wi.
@@timirish4892 But I look at ROI. Overpowering and mismatching equipment is expensive, plus you've just moved your operation's bottleneck to a new area.

Yes Kevin is solely responsible for Keeping Gleaner going.
Cool video indeed
Thank you!
We’ve only run IH. How do those Gleaners perform. Looks like a good machine.

@@thevox1075 I know that feeling. I have a Massey 300 and that will fit into grain tanks on some of the new ones I work on.
@@wsorfan my grandpa had a 300! Three row corn head, and I think a 12’ platform. Was a good combine for him.
@@thevox1075 I have a 10ft head. Something fun to play around with.

Yes it did. Worked ok in the corn that was running in the 150's but no problems in the 190's.
why no 12 head on this large machine
There wasn't a 12 row head available for the demo.
At least with an eight row you can make a round

@@timirish4892 You are right there!
Looks like that oil can is moving right along
Could have gone at least 2mph faster.
