I wasn't really familiar with this song until it won a drawing a few months ago, and have fallen in love with it since. It randomly pops up in my head almost every day. I.. suddenly feel like destroying all humans now.

There's hilarious recording of one of the Insomniac devs flatly "singing" the song so that Courtney's voice actress had a reference for it. It's at the end of episode 15 of the Ratchet and Clank 3 Developer Commentary, look it up for a good laugh.

My daughter jumped up when she heard this and started singing along to the entire song from memory, this game is one of her earliest childhood memories. She didn't miss a line, and you didn't miss a beat.

I didn’t realize how badly i needed this. R&C is my fav video game franchise of all time and this is easily one of my fav songs in gaming. It’s not nevessarily of the highest quality but DAMN does it serve its purpose

I was wondering how you'd transform a mostly electronic song into metal. Very pleased with how you did it. Also brownie points for doing a song from one of my favorite game franchises. Wasn't expecting the lyrics near the end either. That was a nice touch.
These games were my childhood, I remember when I was given the green light to use my father's PS2 and the Ratchet and Clank games being the first thing I grabbed because I saw the old man play them all the time. We had the 5 games for the PS2 and I cleared them all, one after the other, getting as many collectibles as possible and fully upgrading all the weapons. Ah, the memories.
Then playing the PS3 titles was a blast, got to the Insomniac Museum in Crack in Time, got all the Rynos, and got the Platinum Trophy on Nexus just because I could.
This is so damn awesome. I need to replay this game again!
While we're at it, might i suggest "Daxx - Docks Area Mini Boss" from Ratchet & Clank 3?
Mr. Snek Absolute best boss theme in the series IMO, why it was sort of wasted on that Gunship is beyond me.

You should do a remix of Final Fortress from Sonic Heroes, That would be one hell of a track to get the Gametal Magic Touch.
I think the best part about this tune is not the beat, or it's overall quality, but rather it's that whenever the camera is on you, showing your enthusiasm and passion for this, that makes it a really good song. You genuinely looked like ya were enjoying yourself, and that's really quite a good thing to have. Keep up the good work mate, it's great knowing that there's someone so passionate remaking such classic songs like this.

Trombe, Armageddon, Soul of Steel, Dark Prison, Variable Formation, The Arrow of Destiny, Emmissary From the Void, Marionette Messiah, The Sword That Cleaves Evil, Born to Fight, The Violent Battle, Ash to Ash, Dark Knight, Gate of Magus, Sword Soul One Strike, there's so damn many good themes for SRW original characters!

Future me: Some context here, between this and the last time I posted on this vid, I'd say around 70-85% of the time this song would come up in the shuffle whilst my playlist was going. This is probably the highest ratio of ANY song I had on the playlist at the time. Despite that, this song was usually one of the first songs in the shuffle, so it rarely got a comment on it.

Joshua M. I forgot how much I loved that song. It's so underrated ad forgotten but an awesome theme and really sets the feels right for the feeling you get against an ill intent rival
Silver is my favorite rival because of that ill intent and he's also the son of Giovanni. He has great character development. You can see that he does bond with his Pokémon later on when Golbat evolves into Crobat, a friendship evolution.
What if he did a meledy of all the rival themes or elite four themes as the 100K special similar to how he did all the champion (except Sun and Moon because those didnt exist yet) themes as his 10K special?
Would be awesome!

I must say, Ratchet and Clank may have been a long time coming, but this was a fantastic first entry for their games into the GaMetal line-up.
Now for a few quick requests, if that’s not a bother (first time requesting in a while, since I didn’t want to be overbearing):
1. VS Miracle Matter (Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards) - IMO, one of the most underrated Kirby boss themes, likely in part because it shares a game with the Zero Two theme, which often overshadows it. But I always liked Miracle Matter’s theme more, and it’s one of the few remaining boss themes from the Kirby series I’d like to see you tackle someday (aside from Void Termina, but I feel like that would too big an undertaking for just any video).
2. Decisive Battle (Octopath Traveler) - This game has been eating up most of my time since it released, and it is great. The soundtrack is fantastic, and the boss theme is one of its strongest pieces.
3. Battle with Seymour (Final Fantasy X) - One of my personal favorite Final Fantasy boss themes, alongside Exdeath’s Decisive Battle (which you’ve already done) and Gilgamesh’s Battle of the Big Bridge (which you plan to do before the end of this year, if I remember correctly). I feel like this has a lot of potential.
4. Either Jenova Absolute or Birth of a God (Final Fantasy VII) - You’ve done a lot of stuff from FFVII specifically, but the boss themes for Jenova SYNTHESIS and Bizarro Sephiroth are my favorite songs from the game you haven’t done. Hopefully you’ll get to one of them someday.
5. Either The Battle for Award 42 or You Are All Bad Guys (A Hat in Time) - Your Contract Has Expired was one of my favorite covers you’ve done from this year, and Hat in Time has plenty more gems waiting to shine. I specifically requested The Battle for Award 42 (the boss theme for the Conductor and DJ Grooves) on that video, since it was my next favorite song from the game. The final boss theme for the Mustache Girl fight, however, is also very good, but has the same problem as Void Termina in that it might need to be saved for a special occasion.
That ended up being a lot more than a few requests. Sorry about that...
Either way, keep up the good work, Jonny. And if you bother to read through this wall of text, hopefully you consider doing one or more of these songs at some point in the future.

Nostalgia depends on the games you played as a Child. If you played R&C more than anything else, so you would feel more nostalgic to this than anything else.
