This seems like a dream job, but can anyone speak to how common this kind of work environment is? In nature vs construction sites, or side of the road?
Hi there. I run my own business so I can be picky on the types of jobs I take. I do work in urban environments but lucky also to get out into the scrub. I'd say its a 60% urban and 40% rural/ bush for me.... Never on sides of the road or construction however if that interests you, you can always work for companies who do that sort of work. Surveying thankfully allows you to experience all of it....
@globalsurveyor Thanks for the response. Owning my own business may be my goal in the future. I like the idea of owning your time, the varied work environments, and doing the office works and drawings too, but I wouldn't want to be couped up in the office all day. I don't think you can beat working in nature like you did in this video. Almost like you read my mind with your comment. I'm afraid I'll get stuck working on busy construction sites, urban environments or on the side of the road. Gonna have to check out the rest of your channel.
Snake!!!😮😮
Really is a dream job!! The satisfaction of finding an old survey mark
Appreciate the videos
Thanks for watching!
I am from Egypt. I want to work in Australia and gain skills and have experience in field work. If an opportunity is found, please tell me. Thank you.
