- Shame is often at the root of childhood traumatic experiences. Unresolved trauma manifests later in life as low self-esteem, low self-confidence, perfectionism or approval-seeking behaviors. It is shame that drives us into addictive and self-harming behaviors. By acknowledging buried shame we can find closure to the original trauma that we incurred as a child or as an adult. Tapping is an excellent tool to heal these wounds by getting to the root of the pain, allowing it to surface and be released.

I've watched tons of tapping videos, this was the first of yours. I was looking for something to heal shame and guilt from childhood inside watch yours. As you were tapping on the hand as soon as you said not getting what we needed in our childhood, I sobbed the whole way through. It's like this was written for me. I will watch this on repeat.
It works and I found my core issue. I did pillow punching prior and release all my hatred and anger and fell on the floor and cried. I felt shame and came to your video and I released so much. Thank you. You're such an Angel!

This is so amazing. My Father died at a young age and since my mother then had to work a lot to support my sister and I we had so many different caretakers then came and went leaving me feeling abandoned. Great vid Renee! I would love if you’d do a related video regarding self-reliance. Something codependency and dependence on parents diminishes is a person’s belief in themselves (self reliance), self trust and their ability to thrive and be independent. Parents of codependents often instill a sense of unhealthy dependence on the parent for money or resources which continues later in life as well making it difficult to really be free and successful as an individual. Fearing they just won’t make it on their own. Thank you for all you do! So grateful for you and your work.
It’s me being in denial this will work and I’m still going along trying and I’m fine and all of a sudden between 6-7 minutes in out of no where I’m crying and honestly it’s my first day trying to heal my inner child and I feel like I’m on the right path, I caught 1:11 while doing this as well thank you for this ❤️🥺
