Alright, here's the big question for me... Is Valkyrimon ACE the piece LordKnightmon needs to finally put in some work again? Or is the Yellow Vaccine engine more promising? I know the big guy is a virus, but he's the cherry on top of your stack. Getting there and playing on board are the main benefits of the Yellow Vaccine engine, alongside the ridiculous security and memory manipulation of course...
EXCELENT vid!!! I'll add a suggestion to this brew, something I've been cooking up and it is absurdly strong with the new ACE. EX5 Etemon. It's in the colors, it gives -3k and forces an opponent's digimon to attack at the start of their main phase. This interacts SO WELL with Valk Ace. Here's why: Forcing the Attack allows for a guaranteed counter timing before the opponent can evolve or do anything to the board, they can only PROMOTE. The -3KDP also helps the deletion threshold of the Valk Ace to reach even very high DP lvl 6 mons. Etemon is both when Digivolving AND On play, making this pair essentialy a 7 memory boardwipe in many many cases. I run 3-4 and skip on the bad yellow only Knightmon all day.
YO, the Etemon tech is actually pretty legit. Forcing Magna X to attack into a blocker is a great way to help clean it up, and like you mentioned, the combo with Valkyrimon ACE is so powerful. Gonna have to take this for a spin once my last few BT16 orders come in.
I've actually been testing LordKnightmon with a Shakkou bottom end to great effect. Like you mentioned, the lack of protection is a huge hinderance to the deck, so have the Shakkou protection when DNA and then even after that turn having partition to preserve some board presence if LordKnightmon dies has felt really nice.
@@kevinski-tcg An update as I have now brought the deck to locals (also swapped Suka and Gladi for the Armadillo armors). Deck worked really well, only loss being against Veemon MagnaX where I bricked game 1 and game 2 ended in a draw. Ankylo was nuts at stopping MagnaX from attacking and gaining protection, Cody and TK allowed LordKnight to get to huge numbers, and the Shakkou protection worked flawlessly to either keep LordKnight alive or set up for an ACE with Valk. Highly recommend the build!
a friend in my local just topping with this deck recently, while literally no one talking about it before because everyone was bussy with the famous meta like magnamon x, tyrant kabuterimon or ogudomon
I totally get it. Promo prices are wild these days. BT15 Etemon was suggested here in the comments and it is really fantastic. MagnaAngemon ACE in higher counts wouldn’t be bad either. Just remember that Lordknightmon can basically only spam Level 5 Knightmons, so any substitutions will force you to slam them manually and shift your focus to threatening an ACE or an early Lordknightmon.
