I'm surprised harry didn't discuss the terrible trades bob kenndy made in chicago.he was the one we cubs fans wanted rid of.finally got our wish too late.too late to keep great players that should've stayed cubs.burt hooton,Bill madlock,Bill buckner,Bruce sutter,Dave kingman,Fergie jenkins.i could go on and on about the terrible legacy of bad trades.
Oh, you should not be upset about the Sandberg trade. We still mourn that loss here in Philly. Then Chi got Moreland, Ruthven, Matthews, Johnstone, Noles, and the list goes on.
It's still bizarre to see all of these ex-Phillies leading The Cubs to the playoffs. The year before, The Big Red Machine led The Phils to The WS with Rose, Morgan & Perez.

Buckner was traded to the Red Sox when Dallas Green was the GM.
Kingman, if he stayed in Chicago, he'd be in The HOF. Even Larry Bowa hit two home runs in CHI during 1983...
