I got a Flash certification last year as a sophomore in high school, but I didn’t really learn how to work in it very well. The teacher just made us remember what we had to in order to pass the test. I’m familiar with the layout of the software, but I have no idea where to start if I want to start animating. Now that I’m really into animation, this tutorial was sooooooooo much help. It was simple, slow, and to the point. Thank you!!! I intend to watch the rest of your videos!
Honestly the best Animate CC tutorial I have ever been able to find. You actually go through every step a beginner would need to know and explain it in a very understandable and swift manner. Thanks so much for these! :D
I’m a voice actor, and was looking around for animators to work with for some personal and business projects. Then thought to myself, I’m an Artsy! I have the tech, I should see if I can learn some myself. And this tutorial proves that I can! I have watched all of this series a few times, still have some questions but I think it’s mostly ones that I have to just dive in and get a feel for. Thank you so much for putting in the time and effort for this video! It is fantastic, and I fully enjoyed it. Very fortunate to have this being one of the first things I’ve been exposed to while learning. Cheers!
FINALLY, a normal tutorial about Animate CC and basics of animation.. most tutorials I run into start with how to make a dude do a double backflip and how to organise your 648 layers for your 3 sec animation.. thank you man
Thanks, but there should be ads, you're probably using an ad-blocker. I need to put ads on my videos to make a living as I release everything I do for free.
Hey man when I was 12 I was both learning guitar and Flash 5. Eventually I chose music, but now I'm 26 and I was thinking about getting Adobe Animate and start learning it again, do it as a hobby... And also, I LOVE stick animation, was very mucho into Xiao Xiao's, Madness, Bunny Kill, all of that jaja, anyway, you made me go back to those years... I'll suscribe now so I can see al your content. Cheers !
I remember the good ole days of Macromedia Flash and Dreamweaver. I'm excited to get going in Animate CC. Great start on the tutorial thanks for doing this.
This is what I've been looking for, someone who can help me get started without bogging me down with too much. Great tutorial and I can't wait to get started on the second one of your series. Nice one 👍
Great tutorial. I did have to stop around the two minute mark and recheck the title. I was sure it read, "Intro to Adobe Animate". However, the longer I watched the more uncertain I became. It was starting to sound more like, "Intro to Adobe Theoretical Physics CC. Inverted Quadratic Equations and How to Solve Them... Made Easy!" lol. Just bustin' ya chops mate. Nice vid:)
I have an animation project due by the end of the week and I havent even started because idk how to use the animation program (I just moved) so this video series is a life saver :D
I always hate adobe tools with codding but the first job I got as a JS developer and must work with animation (flash), after this video I love animation so much thanks for this video
@@TipTut omg hi I just want you to know that your videos saved me and my first 2d animation assignment a few days ago thank you for the clear and precise explanations and easy to follow steps 🥺
I have a question ,i would like to make remake history like battles and wars ,and i need a map .So could i just put finish pictures in and ad couple of flags and make them move you know like an army going from one region to another ?Please it would mean a lot to me i like your work but i m not such a artist like you are so can't really draw .Like from me .
Some academic systems are out of date, if I ever end up teaching professionally, I'll hopefully be able to translate these TH-cam skills to the classroom. Thanks for watching.
I hate the way adobe started using the cc thing, I don't wanna pay every month for something I can just buy and also at one point the amount you keep paying monthly added together will be more than the price of buying the program
That's what keeps them employed and creating amazing programs :) But I get where you're coming from, some people refuse to let go of that sense of ownership which is fair enough
I think it’s a lot more affordable now and more accessible for people who can’t lay out $1500 in one shot. I don’t recall the actual price, but in the past I’m pretty sure the whole creative suite was over $1000 and you’d pay several hundred for updates. My employer bought me a year of all cc products for $600 and it’s updated regularly. Before they laid out the cost, the monthly fee was worth it because I couldn’t afford to shell out the big bucks in one go.
Its part of the "Knowledge Economy". You pay for what you are actually using. Imagine if every employer or potential client did that for you. For example: If I create a product for a client and it sits on the shelf, no big loss to me. I got paid to design it. My labor costs were covered. However, if EVERY TIME they used it, I got a small royalty, then BAM! I have created an income stream and every time that client puts MY knowledge to work, I get paid. Maybe not as much up front to be sure, but over time, I would certainly have a revenue stream. The more clients I can obtain, the more my revenue stream would grow. I would then be getting paid for my knowledge, not necessarily for the labor I provided to create their product. Very similar to how royalties work in the music industry.
The only problem with CC I have is that we are paying for something functional, but with every update, I am fearing what are they gonna fuck up next. Never had such problems with photoshop/illustrator and InDesign CS5. But on the other hand, you have pretty much good streamline of new features(too many sometimes) and access to wider range of new programs than before.
Great video! My knowledge on animating is limited to what I use to do in Pivot. Using that stick figure example made it really easy to understand and relate to. My aim is to create my poems into silhouette style animations (Think Limbo except not ripping off from Limbo)... Is this something that's best achieved with Adobe Animate? My other idea is if I use a 3D animating program to create 2D style animations for better camera angles and better lighting effects... I was thinking of using Blender... I'm just not sure what to invest my time into.
The circle animation created by tweening is not really smooth. I am needing to have a tall rectangle move sideways slowly across the page. Is Animate suitable for this or is there something else you can recommend, please? For example the videos Eugene Khutoryansky created using Poser are smooth. However I suspect that they are beyond my ability.
Him: And what vector means is sghowbvlskdgbvelwivbelwknfrbskfn. Me: So basically, it means when you zoom in it doesn't lose quality and the math equation changes. LOL this is a great vid and perfect for beginners (like me) who were just introduced to Animate CC and want to learn how to use it!
