i’ll be honest with you i don’t really remember much about it, but i’d say definitely research into your scripts/plays/etc to give yourself more insight on how you can bring your character to life. LISTEN TO YOUR TEACHER!!! sometimes they can be annoying but they know what examiners are looking for and sometimes their judgment and critics can be the difference between a good result vs a mediocre one. and lastly good luck! have fun with it and try not to put too much pressure on yourself ♥️ (and btw i’m pretty sure i did AQA x)

@@Twitchel yes, we were all given a mark sheet (of what we scored) and the grade boundaries for the year. I was 1 mark off a 9 in English, so my English teacher just came over to me and said “I’ve read your script, get it remarked right now and I’ll pay for it” and I was like, omg thank you so much. 😂 So, it was remarked and I ended up getting an additional 4 marks and I was fully in the grade 9 boundary! Edit: Funnily enough, my teacher only read my script as I was hitting grade 5s and 6s all year long, so she was amazed I got an 8. But when she was reading it, she actually thought it was better than an 8, so told me to remark it, haha. I was well happy.

trust me... being someone that did their gcses over two years ago now, its really nothing to worry about. you've done everything you can now and regardless of what numbers show up on that paper never limit yourself to your "school smarts". life will piece itself together for you how its meant to regardless of getting a few high grades at the age of 16! ❤ good luck!!
i don't know if you were like actually asking haha but I've been acting all my life so that came naturally! in terms of the actual written side of it all, just listen to your teachers, read the material they ask you to and put some effort into finding your own inspirations. i believe that with a subject like drama, the examiners can see the passion in what you are doing. the more passion, the better you are.
