This watch was my grail when i first started getting into watches (high thousand dollar watches never scratched my fancy since i'm not in that tier of life..yet lol). I was so happy when I got one. I also ended up getting the strapcode 2 tone oyster style bracelet for it and it's perfect!
It’s a great watch,right?! The wife loves the leather strap of her spb121 and i’m really enjoying the bracelet on mt spb117! :) i think these watches are most peoples goal, and seiko gives us that reach!
hello! its an off topic question but I notice the seiko presage, what a beutifull watch too... would you rather wear a presage or a tissot visodate white dial also?
I’ve looked for that online but it’s sold out everywhere🤦♂️ and i already have a blue watch. But had that been in the store, i think it would be a difficult decision picking between the 117 and 197.

You should check out the SPB197J1 if you’re looking at Alpinists. I’d get this if I didn’t already have the blue Alpinist.
I’ve looked for that online but it’s sold out everywhere🤦♂️ and i already have a blue watch. But had that been in the store, i think it would be a difficult decision picking between the 117 and 197.
I haven’t looked for the 197 in a long while but probably a hard and expensive piece to find now. The black dial is beautiful and better priced.
