I didn't know my dad was that good with a gun.
it's awesome to see how far you guys have come making your videos.
they went to storm trooper training camp
I think it's the stone super power to protect: from aiming at you and first 3 explosions from one enemy.
The reaction I had from you replying to my comment, I think proves that anything you post on this channel I will admire. You inspire me with your videos and therefore have become a powerful medium on TH-cam to me. Thank you for replying so humbly, it's great that you can take feedback from your viewers well. I agree :) anymore like that and it will start to prove how truly un-amazing my life really is haha. Thanks Devin, you're awesome I look forward to you improving and evolving in the future.
This is so awesome , I will never get bored of Freddiew nor Devinsupertramp
This was amazing! Brilliant work, everyone!
What a great idea ! Superb video, well done with special effects !
Congratulations for the music !
Nice!! One of the best video you made !!
This was so much fun to watch and probably just as fun to make! xD
Holy crap. Awesome video! Freddie and Brandon ftw!
I love how u inverted the notes of the song so u could use it in the video no problem FREAKING SMART!
A panzer tank, half track, two Jeeps and a motorbike holly crap that's a lot of high end props for a TH-cam video
*sniffs* Our short round is all grown up and following in Indi's footsteps. So proud.
by far the best freddiew video EVER!
dude this video is awsome and the affects are great! wish i could make videos like you...
this is the best thing i have ever watched.
Shadow from the camera at 1:00 lol. Another great vid guys!
dude this is awesome plus great scenes
THAT WAS FREAKIN AWESOME!
Devin, ignore all the critics/haters/lost FreddieW followers (seriously, can't you people read?)
You did a good job making an action movie for your second big production following camera warfare. I enjoyed it, and it was funny seeing the roles of Brandon and Freddie swapped (shouldn't he be the one handling guns lol?) It may not be the best of your films, but it shows a lot of potential, especially working with what you had.
I look forward to seeing your progress!
I believe they were using a panzerfaust (if that is how it is spelt). Panzerschreck and panzerfaust's were both used by German forces in WWII. I believe the panzerfausts were somewhat less reliable but cheaper/easier to manufacture and were used as general use anti-vehicle weapons while panzerschrecks were designed more specifically as anti-tanks, but I could be wrong (probably am).
that was one of the best youtube vids ive ever seen
Yes, I do see that they are fired under arm, but at the last segment one is fired off the shoulder. They were trained to fire under arm initially before the newer variants made it to the battlefield. Anyway, the variant in the video is shoulder fired.
Awesome work man!
hey Devin,
I really liked those smoke explosions that kept going of,
were those real or did you use stock footage?
This was AWESOME? U guys need to make more like this!!!!!!!
The Stormtrooper effect is strong in this one.
I definatley think you guys should all make a movie together.
INCREDIBLE! Great job!
freddie wong: the greatest youtuber of all time
I completely agree. Even though I am only 12 and still am a ''child'' I grew up with the Indiana Jones trilogy and I love it. It is one of my favorite trilogies with Back to the Future.
Kids, let me tell that tanks have actually have good accuracy when your driving straight into them. 170 hours of BF3 and so many deaths have taught me that oh so well.
Freddie didn't DODGE the bullets, the bullets avoided him out of pure fear.
yeah there are different types of warheads for the RPG but I am not talking about the RPG in my comment about the movie. In this film they used the Pazerfaust 30 which is a high explosive shape charge.
It depends. There's "artilery" type round that explode. And there are "armor-piercing" type that don't really explode as much. But when it hits something, it will explode to a certain degree and it will "blow up" whatever it hits just by the force and crap will go flying all over.
so when are we getting the vid for RCDAY 2012?
been waiting on that for a couple of months...
Where do you guys get all your nice gadgets? :)
This just goes to show that even Freddiew can make a Spielburg movie.
I like how it's not really a Nazi flag, but it's filmed at an angle so you can't tell unless you look close.
THIS
IS
TOO
AWESOME!
i love how the guys in the tents just realize they are under attack after everyone else dies
Hey man love ur work keep it up
So...tell me....when are you two going to make a feature length film?
loved the music having some hint of the movies
That was really freaking good
its sad that actualy some movies end up like dis
but the video is goood, very good
this looks so god damn cool, would love to be on these sets!
*bad guys fires 4 mags at a target and hits everywhere around it*
Drill Sargeant: he's ready *wipes tear from eye*
hahaha.this vid is very funny.i kinda wish sean connary was this badass in the movie.yall nailed it as usual.
They do both. Sometimes they take the "raw" sound. And sometimes they voice-over it like the "give us back the stone!". You can use a software to put like 100 sound tracks into a video segment at various locations. In pretty much ALL of Lindsey Stirling's vids, the song / singing is recorded in studio and they try to choose video clips (entirely silent) to match the music I guess.
WOW... Every one is a critic. I think the film is fantastic.
amazing work of art
Anyone notice how the tank in that video was also used in freddiew's new video two man army???
Really well done
Perfect combination. There should be more FreddieW collaborations. Shit, one of u guys should be in VGHS as a main character!!!
That 3 minute clip was 1000 times better then the whole of Indiana Jones 4.
The perfect mix between Silliness and violence!!! :D
this is awesome and the funniest that I've ever seen
1:53 a toy tank scale model? or is it real?
What type of camera would these guys use to record their videos?
I'm pretty sure Devin's videos are not for the sole purpose of entertaining bored ppl on the internet with free video segments. It's also part of his "portfolio" for freelance work or whatever too. When a producer see's something like this, they might be like...OK, we need someone to make a scene with a 100 actors and cars...Oh yeah, I remeber Devin Supertramp WW2 vids. Lets hire him for it! Woot!
Assuming there are no indie cinema makers that have this kind of skill and yet don't have the outlet to advertise or haven't found TH-cam yet?
That was a Pz. III/IV.. Anw.. I am fans of both of u devin and freddiew.. I watch all of yur vids. So it was surprising to see both of you work together..
"Bazooka" (USA) was the 1st ever soldier Anti-Tank weap invented in order to counter German Armor. It's why the term "Bazooka" was widely used for any shoulder fired rocket.
The "RPG" is common cuz USSR, etc. made zillions of them and everyone and their mom uses one. It's actually NOT "Rocket Propelled Grenade" in Russian. It's "anti-tank rocket" or something, I forgot, but Americans made that up to match "RPG". A grenade explodes outward (vs. toward the front to penetrate steel like RPGs).
Did Freddie edit and animate this? I think he did he has a very distinct style...
Hmm...according to wikipedia (:P) it actually seems there are RPG rounds that do do "fireball explosions".
Specialized warheads are available for illumination, smoke, tear gas, and white phosphorus. Russia, China, and many former Warsaw Pact nations have also developed a fuel-air explosive (thermobaric) warhead.
The thermobaric does close to the movie versions. But not sure how many were made and if they still exist. It's gotta be pretty small tho, compared to an air-drop.
Hahahaha
I really enjoyed this.
(Wish the RPG bang was bigger)
that's some sweet effects there freddiew. But it seemed like all the guns have the same sound which kinda doesn't work for the jeep mounted 30. cal.
Crusade is a holy war... how holy does this look?
I was a child when I saw Indiana Jones (just a couple of years ago I'm 14 now) and I loved Indiana Jones, and still do!
LOL I LOVE THE SONG!
Damn that was so cool!
Yeah, and it did demonstrate an pretty sophisticated production with lots of minions and gadgets utilized.
At least in his previous vid with FreddieW, "Come With Us- Lindsey Stirling & Can't Stop" they were casted on the mark and got a pretty good "nerdgasm effect" it looks like.
Devin! Personally I love your videos and watching them inspires me to make more of my own! However, I feel working with freddiew is drawing you away from your own style which I have grown to love and enjoy! I do agree that working with freddiew is a great way to get your name out and increase your views but personally I feel like I'm watching a freddiew film not a devinsupertramp one.
All the best.
I love how so they dont copyright they put the music up by just 1 note
you guys should make a movie, great job
"I got the WWII tank from my friend who owns one."
Oh sure, let me ask my friends and see if they own a tank :D
The ol' rock in the canon. Always works!
ha, i remember the Last Crusade, Epic Indiana movie. thanks for the fond memories Freddy ^.^
True, there's less of the comedic element we're used to seeing in TH-cam action videos from freddiew and the fact he's portrayed it as a "serious" scene is off putting to a lot of us. But in the end, it's just a TH-cam video that's better produced than others, and it's a video he made for FUN, and the rest of the crew had fun too. Just seeing Freddie actually ride an old motorcycle made me smile, because he was doing his own stunts.
Also overall likes outweigh the dislikes. =)
It's AWESOME !!!
GOOD JOB
the Cal bullets tanks use are explosive and they explode on impact, the rock simulates the impact enough to explode the bullet, and due that the high power from it, the whole tank explodes
-captain obivious
Hey Freddie Can you please make a tutorial about the tank explosion in after effects?
Right on Que the tank nerd appears. We are on youtube after all...
How did you get those stuffs ? (French Fan !)
Funny how some movies that end up in cinema really suck, while you got talented people who only make TH-cam video's.
was that a miniature tank freddie? :3
IOW, this is more "Indy and the last Crusade (featuring Freddy Wong and Brandon Laatsch)" than it is "FreddieW and the Last Crusade"...if you catch my drift. :)
No sure why so many dislikes. It was an awesome action scene. What else do you want? A love story? Then go watch VGHS. Which was awesome btw.
I knew Indiana And Jones since 2008 ( I know not that long ) and I am a kid. Plus I love it so much back in 2008.
Freddie is probably the funniest smartass (he is a genius, seriously)
That's just Freddie using his God Mode Hax again.
Freddie's best friend is Brandon Laastch. This is made my Devinsupertramp. And before you say it, no, Devin and Freddie did not go to school together. Freddie went to USC, and Devin went to BYU. Just because Freddie is the main character does not mean he made it.
very nice ... but one thing: the mg42 sounds way diffrent than that. it was even known as "the electric mg" because of it special "electric" sound. but getting technically accurate sound effects is probably very hard, so still good job ;)
This is why I feel like Freddie Wong and Some other TH-camrs should make a legitimate movie :)
#1) .50 cal is a large sniper/ machine gun round .... that tank would shoot a round more on the scale of 50mm (many times larger than .50 cal).
#2) It is unlikely but possible with WW2 era weaponry that the shell would be armed before leaving the barrel in which case, Yes it would explode the barrel and disable the tank. Have a nice day. Good video BTW Dev
I like how on the german trucks had brownings mounted and the Americans had a MG42.
Non-stop action. Edge of seat type of explosive combat.
" I was underground for 3 days.. waiting for tides to come in "
where did you get the cars and motorcycle. oh how'd you get a tank
