Any infectious process that gets out of control to where the number of bacteria exceed the body's immune system's fighting capability. They spill over from localized: Pneumonia (Lungs), UTI: Urinary tract infection (bladder/kidneys), etc. and enter the blood stream where they damage the distal extremities: (fingers/hands, toes/feet). That is why it is important to recognise the signs of sepsis early, and NOT take antibiotics for every little tiny cut or scrape, or chest cold, but to only use them when it is absolutely necessary!
@@TDS.Harper You're right. My mistake .White cells increase in an infection and inflammation markers increase at the same time like Covid virus. I've had AML leukemia, bone marrow transplant, sepsis, total kidney failure and pneumonia and today I'm alive and in great health 16 years later but I had the best doctors and a lot of faith and prayer.
Wishing you all the Best 🙏🏽
Good for you baby girl
So, did she make it back to her job?
That sounds more like a case of sepsis that may have been compounded by a low white cell count during influenza.
No wheelchair ramp until today? Really people what does it take?
But that was her own home? Why would she have had one before? 🤔
@@lnteIIigence Husband had at least 2 out of the 4 months his wife was hospitalized. Relatives, friends, neighbors, coworkers?
Wasn't expecting the husband to look like this
What kind of flu does this🥺🥺🥺

@@davidkellymitchell4747 Would the white blood cell count not have been high, rather than low, due to the infection?
